Aye our kid told me about Ince last night.

Apparently there is a bid in for Robertson although the offer is derisory. Told to go away and come back with something more realistic. Our kid knows a bird in the shop and she is usually spot on with her tit bits.

Sydney Tiger - sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. That was one of my first lessons at prep school.

Its funny that we could only sign Ince on a 2 year deal, whilst being, at the time, a Premiership club that was in a FA Cup Final and was in the Europa league for the first time... but he'd only sign a 2 year deal with us..

A year later, he signs for a Championship club on a 4 year deal...

Very strange I bet Pappa ince has a few ££££££ in his pocket after the deal

`I am a little surprised that many posters seem to think this is a club decision to sign him on a two year deal and have a release clause inserted into the contract. In this day and age the players and agents determine these things, or they don`t sign.. simple. Do many of you think that INCE would have been a loyal asset, and wanted to sign for us for a lengthy period. The deal was done with a view to enhancing his reputation with us in order to get a move to a much `bigger` and high profile club, its crying out for all to see. Pop and jnr have tried to use us as a stepping stone to the top, nothing new in that in todays game, we were given the opportunity to have him for a couple of years but it hasn`t worked out for any number of reasons, he like many others is a mercenary driven by the promise of gold, and pushed along by his father acting for what he believes is his sons best interests. Campbell was the same before this, and I`m sure there will be others to follow. I for one am not going to start pissing my pants blaming all and sundry at the club over a player and agents demands, its football.. get a grip.`

I wasn't aware at all, you mentioned the option to buy in the loan agreement, which had absolutely nothing to do with with the original contract he signed.

Perhaps you would like to point out where this mention of `option to buy in the loan agreement` appears in my post ? Would appear your opticians may need a visit, anyway moving on.......

You seem to be dense but I'll try again...

THE RELEASE CLAUSE WAS REPORTEDLY IN THE LOAN AGREEMENT NOT IN HIS CONTRACT

You said that when he signed with us he agreed a release clause, but he didn't, as far as we know there was no release clause in his contract.

There was an option to buy in a loan agreement between Hull City and Derby County, but he obviously didn't negotiate that when he signed with us.
