#hcafc academy youngsters Max Clark and Josh Clackstone have signed new deals at the KC Stadium today.
That's good news. Surely Clark must be on the fringes of some first team action?

is he good enough ? I've never seen him playThat's good news. Surely Clark must be on the fringes of some first team action?

He scored an absolute beauty of a free kick last season in the reserves. If he was ever going to make the step up, it'll have to be this season. The Accrington game would be a good one, if not only to see how he fares against League opposition.

Ok cheers, he'll be down the pecking order though won't he if we've got Robertson Brady and Townsend that can play lbHe started off as a centre back, but generally plays left back now.

Which is a bit of a worry. Not to disparage the lad but maybe he was a big lad at a young age but others have caught him up physically and he aint a CB anymore. Doubt he's got the pace for a LB.He started off as a centre back, but generally plays left back now.

Thought they were trying him in midfield anyway?
He's a good player, just needs a chance, which he will never get at this club unfortunately.
But that's brucies speciality playing players in wrong positions, he'll have Elmo earmarked for thereand no right back......

I believe he did play in midfield for some games last season, to be honest I've stopped going to reserve games so I'm not best placed to comment on him.
Is that your way of sticking two fingers up to the Allams?
No, it my way of stopping the missus from whining at me about me going to watch too many games.
When you think Luke Shaw is only 6 moths older than him and had a similar path of England U16 and U17's.He was coveted as the next big thing - represented England at certain levels. So you would hope he'd be good enough. If not another failure from our youth set up.
