Looks like a swap deal, although it's £3m plus two of three players mentioned, Yilmaz (a CM) Waris and Yatabare (both strikers). Waris is still quite young though and he's pretty highly rated. In fact we might have been linked to him before, when he was a teenager at Hacken.

I don't know much about the other two, other than one plays for the Mali national team and is a bit **** and Yilmaz is a creative CM, which might be a bit more appealing if we're about to lose Quinn.

Looks like they're making a loss on Waris as well...if we get £3-4m Waris & Yilmaz it might get interesting

You're probably right, I don't think he'd move anywhere but the Premier League now anyway, but we definitely should be looking to poach the very best from this league in order to maintain a title challenge.

A team with no goals could do a lot worse than Ross McCormack. Surely Fulham might want to recoup £6.5m of what they paid?

ALF is still my preference but he'd be a good plan b.

Those would be the two I'd go for. It'd also mean we wouldn't have spent anything and gained two players.

Brucey is a big fan of the African players as well, said it himself....plus he's played in England before so none of this struggling to settle bullshit!

Both would be a gamble mind

I'm not sure how much he'll have learned playing in Forest Green reserves, although he might've learned the fundamentals.

After hearing that Hernandez can't handle playing in winter (if it's the truth) I wouldn't want us to sign another soft one...at least Waris knows what it's like.

They said the same about Geovanni and it wasn't true. What's not to handle about playing in Winter time? Hernandez scored in Winter time, he didn't look out of place at all. His lack of playing time, international call ups and travelling round the world were what contributed to an unsuccessful season.

Hmm, not the best example. From memory wasnt he well off the pace during winter?

I actually don't mind him and think he could do us a good job for us in the Championship. He's played one winter so he might be used to it now....who's to say that he won't score as many as Rhodes did this season?! Some players take time to settle but how keen Bruce is on him remains to be seen.

People going on about Hernandez and winter, have they seen how cold it gets in Turin or Udine during winter? The former hosts winter olympics for frig's sake.

Exactly.

The whole team was well off the pace over Winter and indeed, for the rest of the season.

The winter thing could be total bullshit, in any case I'd keep him if no decent offers were received.

I think ALF would be a more than useful addition, but we'd still need a couple more at least. We've had goal scoring issues for ages now and my confidence in the club getting it right isn't very high. ALF would be a great starting point though.
