Hull City could be facing competition from a handful of clubs as they battle to keep Stephen Quinn at the KC Stadium beyond this summer.
Quinn has returned home from Republic of Ireland duty this week and turned his attentions towards resolving an uncertain future ahead of his current City deal expiring in a fortnight.
The 29-year-old has been offered the chance to remain in East Yorkshire for a fourth season with a two-year extension recently tabled, but the Mail understands other options could be opening up for the midfielder.
Sources close to Quinn have confirmed interest has come from "a number of clubs" in recent weeks, including one in the Premier League, for a player who will soon be available on a free transfer.
City remain optimistic that their offer, coupled with the potential for regular first-team football at the KC, can convince Quinn to commit his future but there are currently no guarantees in place as he prepares to meet his representatives in the next 24 hours.
Steve Bruce has made it clear he wants Quinn to stick around after seeing the Irishman enjoy an impressive run of form in the closing weeks of the season.
The former Sheffield United man made 11 consecutive appearances as City lost their fight against relegation and featured in 28 of the 38 Premier League games last season.
Quinn was also a talisman of City's promotion when last in the Championship. A debut campaign at the KC Stadium saw him crowned the Players' Player of the Season as the Tigers clinched promotion in 2012-13.
