I agree. We splashed out last time, and it's even more important for us to do so this time - our first signing needs to make a statement. It should be one that makes the players we're trying to keep hold of believe we're serious about going for promotion. Norwich did it right by splashing out on 2 upper-Championship quality strikers last summer. £4.5million for both Jerome and Grabban was good business though, to be honest.
Knowing our luck we'll sign some 2 legged ****ing donkey. I urge our club to appoint someone to work with our strikers and someone to identify ones that can actually score. Not the **** ones - we've had enough of those!!!
