I don't have anybody on ignore. Hat's come close, but nobody really disrupts the board to the point of ignoring them!

More on Daniel Bentley..

“Hull’s manager Steve Bruce spoke to Phil Brown and Steve Kavanagh, but we have rejected the offer and don’t want to lose Daniel,” said Martin.

“There have been no other bids from anyone else other than Hull, but we want him to stay with us.

“That said, we won’t stand in his way if a really sizeable offer comes in and he is intent on leaving.

“But that’s not the case at the moment and we’re working on a new contract for him that would be in the mutual interest of both the player and the football club.”

“I’ve sat down with Steve, he’s a great manager and a good friend of mine but I don’t want to sell Daniel and neither does the chairman,” said Brown.

“Steve is after competition for places, just as we are, but I want Daniel to stay to help us try to push for another promotion.

“I also want him to finish his footballing apprenticeship with us but money talks in football.”

“I’m sure it won’t stop here for Daniel,” said Brown. “Brentford and Nottingham Forest have both been keen on him in the past but I will continue to speak to Daniel about a new contract.

“We’ve been in talks for a while and there have been one or two issues which I will keep in-house but we will be doing all we can to convince him to stay.”

I ask a simple question about a rumoured approach to a player who can't secure a first team place in the Bundesliga who has made 40 appearance for 2 goals.
In reply I get stats proving that he only averaged about 18.1 minutes as he came on as sub for 35 games so his record ain't that bad! (Are you serious).
Then Tuckin tries to make a Federal Case out of it because I have ignored the reply of a bloke who is on my 'ignore' list. (How do I see his reply Tuck?)
This is the beauty of these boards when there is always someone who did it before you did, or, has got one bigger than yours and he paid half price for it, or, knows some Sheila in the Club shop so she should know, or, has a relative called 'our kid' who knows everything and either knows a taxi driver who drives everyone connected to Hull City around or, (the classic) was sat next to Elmo on a train the other day.
None of these can give me an answer so, could someone tell me if we have or have not made an approach for "Der Esel" in Germany.:headbang:

No we haven't. We were interested in him because he was a big target man type player (like Conor Wickham) and those are the kind of players Brucey likes. And he's relatively cheap. But as far as I know there's been no approach for him. But don't look at his goalscoring record, he could come here and score 25, unfair to judge until he's actually signed.

We prefer our strikers to be the opposite. They score 25 goals a season in a foreign league, then get <5 goals in a season here :)

No, absolutely nothing like that at all.

Well yes, everything like that. It only needs saying/asking once doesn't it? If the ref says " 5 minutes", why would you need to ask 90 seconds later? In the same way, why would you want to post how many pages long the thread is when you can scroll down and see how long it is at the bottom?

**** me you post some absolute ****ing bollocks. It may be the same in 'Your world' - but really it is absolutely nothing like that at all.
