Good thing about our targets so far is that quite a few of them are proven Championship players. Andre Gray scored a decent amount last season for Brentford, Whittinham has played ten Championship seasons for Cardiff and Lees has 166 Championship games under his belt. Buying players from foreign leagues is hit or miss really (as proved by Hernandez) and buying players from the league you're competing in is more sensible, generally.

Does anyone think Joe Mason from Cardiff would be worth a punt? Wolves were after him a couple of months ago for a reported £3 million and he scored a handful of goals during several loan spells at Bolton. Wouldn't be a bad striking option in the Championship.

If only, we won't be shelling out £6m each on two players, no chance. Those players, at their current club values, are rated collectively at roughly £20m, there's no way we'd spend that much in this league.

Probably not. Wishful thinking but at least it leaves me with room for improvement on FIFA 16 Career Mode when I can boot the Allams out and replace them with a billionaire owner through Financial Takeover.

What do you make of Joe Mason from Cardiff?

He's alright, but he's 24 and he doesn't really seem to have impressed Cardiff. I'd rather have Nuhiu from Seffield Wednesday, he'd probably be about the same price, he's a big lad (which Bruce seems to favour) and he scores goals.

Do they play in the same division as Melchester Rovers?

Mason's playing style is pretty similar to James Wilson and he scored a fair amount of goals at Bolton during his loan spells there. If we can't get Andre Gray from Brentford, I think he'd be a good signing. Not seen a lot of Nuhiu.

Can't he play right-back though? By the way, do you think we'll lose anymore centre-backs, specifically Davies, Chester or Maguire? I think Dawson's nailed on to stay.

He started off as a right back, but currently plays exclusively as a centre back.

Chester will only go if a big offer comes in, I think any half decent offer would see Davies gone, the others will stay, but we'll only look for additions once one actually goes.

How much do you think we'll get if we shift N'Doye, Hernandez and Jelavic?
 
If we don't get a new right-back, perhaps it's time Lenihan got some game time.
 
Just back from the KC. Great 2 points for FC.

Our kid was almost ejaculated from the ground at HT for doing his nut. Great scenes at FT - I think he creamed himself
