I've never understood how these contracts are about to be signed or they are "tying up loose ends".

It's like they're negotiating about which peg he has in the dressing room rather than release or option clauses .

I heard a bit of info last week and I didn't post it all through fear of backlash. I dont often post but my source is extremely well connected. City are interested in three Sunderland players. 1 is definitely elmo. 2 is possibly meyler but the 3rd one is definitely Frazier Campbell on loan. The reason why Bruce is preaching patience is because MON could be using these players as makeweights in the Steven Fletcher transfer. That's pretty appalling to be honest, people should not be put of posting information they have heard because they fear the backlash.

I dont think MON has a chance in hell of landing Van WolfsWinkel. Fletcher is a 50/50 though i would suggest. MON is now in a battle anyway for Fletcher as Villa and WBA are also interested in Fletcher. MON appears to be having a really tough time attracting anyone up there. Its also been well reported that Richardson wants out and back down south.

Dont worry about the backlash. If you know it to be true and/or the source is one is a good one let rip. Elmo and Meyler have been mentioned/linked to Hull City for a while by some media outlets. As for Campbell it just shows how much MON rates him that he is prepared to let him go. I hope Campbell does not end up here. He had his chance, imo.

Wolves are closer now to losing Matt Jarvis to PL newboys Southampton.

Wolves are also resigned to losing defender Christophe Berra as he has asked for a transfer.

Bolton are demanding £10m for Mark Davies. Swansea are expected to go back in for Davies after losing Scott Sinclair to Manchester City.

Middlesboro are hopeful of signing Chelsea midfield ace Josh McEachran on a season long loan.

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is close to re-signing striker DJ Campbell from DQPR for £1m.
 
Joining Man City would be the worst thing Scott Sinclair could do. Squad rotation and world-class competition for places will do for him.

He'd be better off joining Arsenal or Liverpool.
