Nobody, and I mean nobody, has spent more money on players over the years than Man Utd. I dont get this accusation people throw at others buying the title.

And it's got controversial fiery draw written all over it. 1-1.

Agree with this. I have nothing against United at all, but when people start saying they hate teams buying their way to success and upsetting the big boys I just don't get it. Do these people just want to see the same teams win the league every year? Would they rather see Leeds still in the PL because that's their 'natural' place? :emoticon-0119-puke:

Hell, we might as well just cancel football altogether and all agree that the current top 4 are the best 4 teams and that's that, no need for any more competition we already know who's best, any more matches will just give these pesky underdogs a chance to upset the odds.

I have no real problems with either club, but I wanted City to win just because it makes the title race a bit more interesting!

Also, I find it a bit gay that we've got another thread where people can't say a good word about United without being accused of being an ex-United fan.

What's with all the talk about 'City' on this thread? City's season finished on Saturday as far as I'm aware? It ****s me off when the media imply that Man City are the team that are universally known as 'City' but I never thought I'd see Hull fans doing so...

This. We're on a Hull City forum, stop referring to Man City as "City". FFS.

Time for Fergie to retire I think, can't figure out why he left out Valencia and Welbeck in this game and picked powder-puff Park to run around like the posh Marney that he is, seems like that atrocious git Tevez will have a smug look on his face come the end of the season after this match. Mancini deserves a lot of credit for getting a team containing the likes of him and the maniac Balotelli to the title.

reminds me of primary school when a crowd of kids used to go around the playground asking targets "Do you support FC or KR?".. they'd beat you up if you got it wrong.. I panicked and said "Warrington"... they beat me up..

We're on a thread about the Manchester derby. There's nothing wrong with referring to them as City when it's so clear it's Man City. If it were the Sheffield derby would we be complaining about people referring to them as just Wednesday and United?

I really dont udnerstand why people are singleing out Park as an odd selection. Ferguson ALWAYS picks him for the top, top games at home and in Europe.

Man Utd will not lose tonight and that just about makes the title theirs.

Think of them what you will but Ferguson has been down this road many times before and IMO that experience will be crucial.

Like I have said previously I'm no lover of Man Utd but the fact is they rarely bottle it(domestically) come the crunch and I can't see tonight being any different.

Score draw with Man City scoring first.

My losing streak at the bookies continues.
It really goes to show that I know **** all.

Not really. But then again, we're not called "Hull Wednesday" or "Hull United".

So, given the fact it's on a thread about a the Manchester derby so it's obvious who it means and saying Man or Manchester in front of it is a complete waste of time, do you think it's an inferiority complex causing people to get narked by it, or a lack of intelligence causing confusion?
