Probably the title decider if this goes Uniteds way?

Probably not if City win it. So who would you like to win it and what's your prediction?

I'm hoping City win the league and predict a 3-1 win tonight (well here's hoping!)

Why do we give a s h i t what happens in the game which our holier than thou TV pundits will now be calling 'El Mankio'. Thank goodness the FA announced their bombshell last night to relieve the tedium of the build-up to tonight's El Mankio derby!

I do mussiesredhat. It's been a great premiership season so I expect a good game between the best two teams. I want man city to win though.

I hope city win it, fed up of United winning it every year! Title won't be their's though if they do win and it will probably go to the final game. On paper Newcastle looks away looks a tough game, but an away game at Chelsea for them on Wednesday isn't the easiest game for them to put that Wigan defeat behind, and Citeh could well face a different team to the one who won 6 on the bounce. They then should beat QPR at home. 2-1 Citeh tonight.

Don't believe this but I want United to win, since the money intervention at Chelsea and now Man city, I just don't want them to win.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, has spent more money on players over the years than Man Utd. I dont get this accusation people throw at others buying the title.

And it's got controversial fiery draw written all over it. 1-1.

I agree with arfa, i want united to win it. Hate teams that try and buy the league, and it's funny how people on here want city to win when they spent most of the season slagging of lesta for trying to same in this league ( even tho they failed MISERABLY....lol)

And dont give it the whole united have been doing it for years crap. They have spent a fair bit of the odd star player. But they surround these select stars with youth they bring through.

They didn't just go out and buy a full starting XI and bench. My knowledge of united ain't great but pretty sure they didn't buy giggs, scholes, Neville,Beckham, cleverley, welbeck, Evans, smalling, wes brown, nicky butt, Darron Gibson, Darren fletcher; the list goes on the further back you go.

Nett spend over the past 10 years on transfers:

Chelsea £515m
Man City £479m
Tottenham £235m
Liverpool £201
Man Utd £179m
Sunderland £103m

Your argument doesnt really hold up in the face of the facts!!

I want united to win, they have provided us with some quality players over the last couple of years, one major one that helped us to promotion.

Brilliant!! if you take away the sale of one man united player from that £179m then they have only spent £99m and then you take away other players they have sold and may not have actually spent that much

They also make good deals like ronaldo bought for £6m sold for £80m, hernandez bought for £6m worth a hell of a lot more already

My point exactly! I'd sooner see a team that buys potential, and then nurtures it over a few seasons; than see a team of mercenaries win it. United are doing it the right way, the way most of you would want us to do it.

We tried buying survival in the premiership and ended up with a load of lazy expensive deadwood who couldn't give a crap about us. That is all Man city is. The youth playing for united are fighting for united because the club made them who they are.

Net spend means sales have already been deducted from the list :)

Eh? Who the hell mentioned last 10 years?!? Certainly not me.

All of this 'bringing youth players through argument' was a good 10 years into Sir Alex's reign. For the older fans on here I'm sure they remember Utd time and again under Ferguson splashing huge amounts for the time. When Sir Alex went out and bought Pallister, Bruce, Webb, Wallace, McLair, Anderson, Leighton, Phealan, Ince it was a spending spree the like of which had NEVER been seen and is certainly equal if not greater in relative terms than anything City or Chelsea have spent since. It was this spending spree that set the basis of the team and allowed him to bring in youth players years later. Who is to say City wont do this?

Either some people have short memories or are very young, in which case they should check history before ignoring it.

Oh, and they did buy Cleverley and Smalling off the top of my head. Anyone else?

**** it, I hate Man Utd, hate all the shirts that can be seen frequently worn around Hull. Plus, most the ****ers have probably never been to Manchester let alone Old Trafford.

Manchester City for me please, smash them!
