I used to love Christmas, but I've hated it ever since I got married. Hope everyone has a wonderful time and the coming year is one to remember, unlike the current one.

All the best to all and their families and loved ones.

Cheers.
All the best fella, hopefully we get out for a pint in 2021!

the “bairns stockings “ They’re only 28 :emoticon-0136-giggl

It's funny you should say that. Last year was the first year our two didn't have a "stocking" felt strange not watching them unpack them, it's amazing how much tat you can fit in a stocking along with the obligatory Apple, Orange, Nuts, Coins and sweets
Oh and by the way my two are 27 and 20 and we've agreed they are getting a stocking this year :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Love it !!! they’re never too old man

my son was about seventeen when we stopped putting the Sherry and mince pie out for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Doing mine today, not sure wether you are supposed to soak them in water or not these days some say you don’t, any ideas?
I don't personally as it means that you get nice well done end bits for those who like it that way and normal most bits for everyone else.

I get a 1/4 leg with as little bone in as possible (lower quarter) as ****ed if i'm paying by the kilo for bone :emoticon-0105-wink:

Mine should look like that in about 4hrs <ok> I will stick photo on.
By the way that looks bloody good.
Turkey tomorrow (we just do a breast roll now) and the pork loin roll on Xmas day. It's took me 3 years but i've finally perfected the crackling using a WeberQ

A Christmas stocking isn't just for the bairns, it's for life!

Best Christmas advice I could ever give any new parent, and this after one very long Christmas Eve - get a duplicate stocking for the bairn!

I do one for Mrs Draig, she does mine and we both contribute to our 19 yo son's and one for my eldest sister who has been on her own for a few years.

Apple, choc orange, some silly stuff, sweets n chocs, some useful stuff, scratch card and an alcoholic miniature for that first nip of the day.

Helps get Christmas day started off right!
