Take my word for it mate it's just as bad as you remember.

Yeah mince pies are just as bad although at least they've got the pastry to disguise the horror within.

Wife just showed me something on facebook. A couple came home with their kids and had obviously left the back sliding door ope. They discovered a Koala had come into the house and was perched in the Christmas tree :emoticon-0100-smile

Fair play if you've got the stones to eat them and claim to enjoy it then I'd want you beside me in the trenches.

The film crew we had here left this morning and it was sad because they'd been a great bunch of hard working people.

We were feeling a bit down but went into the village shop and were invited to the Christmas Eve service with mulled wine in the square beforehand. It's for the whole village and we're the only 'outsiders' so it's great to know the Christmas spirit is alive in our isolated spot in the mountains.

Sounds idyllic Smug, I know you will be missing your family, but that sounds like a decent second prize. Enjoy it, take care and stay safe

It's hard tbh mate but I'm a lot better off here than stuck in a lorry at Dover ...

... I know the drivers don't get much sympathy but I'll be saying a prayer for them tonight.

Merry Christmas everyone. Don’t know how to put photos up but our house is suitably adorned. No graft for us for at least a week so it feels like Christmas.
Enjoyed your photos. Let’s hope next year is a great year for us, on and off the field.

I posted on page one a photo of my tree in the loft
Update....trees down, or is it up?
Its been "up" for 5 years, and now its down, and up.
I'm confused, but here's a pic of it anyway....
20201222_225300.jpg and one of the fireplace.

Christmas pudding with loads of brandy butter is absolutely the very essence of Christmas. Usually eaten at least 3 hours after the main course though!
