One of the things that makes me most jealous of those still in Norfolk is that they don't have to deal with anything as ragey as the London Underground. EVERYONE is in a hurry. You actually have to be in a hurry too, simply to avoid being screamed at.

The issue RBF is that we played dull uninspiring football which caused the fans to turn. Even if the fans pulled together and we got back to that point it's still not good enough.

It may not be good enough for some Bath, I grant you, as Munky says, some people want everything, but no-one can possibly tell whether or not it might have made a difference.

haha I know the feeling, and as you say we are all guilty Computers can be the most annoying things in the world! But football is up there. It does to a large extent reflect society, but only one team can win a league which often means many are left unhappy. A club like us must be realistic, we don't have the finances to be world beaters and lower prem is about as high as we are likely to sustain for any period of time. This does not mean we can't strive for entertaining football, but you must have a balance between entertainment and effectiveness. Unless of course people are happy going for it even if we lose lots of matches. In my opinion sport at that level is about the competition and winning, certainly if you are playing.

I agree that they can be incredibly frustrating, but when you take a step back and think about what they do for us and what we are now capable of doing at the click of a few buttons thanks to them I do get embarrassed at myself for moaning about having to wait just a few seconds to find out precise the lyrics of Nick Cave's "The Mercy Seat" for example, stuff that in my teenage years wouldn't even have registered in the mind as being possible.

We live in a world of instant gratification (something that shows pretty clearly in the current generation of kids) and football isn't immune. I think it's a sorry state of affairs but I admit to getting annoyed when something takes more than a few seconds to load, just as you've said Munky. managers no longer get given a chance. It's either immediate success or you're out the door.

But quite honestly carrabuh, it makes no difference who is perceived as starting things, that´s like saying two wrongs make a right, they don´t, all parties should pull together to try and improve things, and some of the home supporters have fallen short of that.

No, because you are saying the fans are a result of our position when all of the evidence suggests otherwise.

And no, part of supporting your team is showing discontent when things are clearly not right, its your responsibility as supporters to do that.

People are not blind sheep happy to follow any old rubbish.

Don´t understand what you mean when you say ´the fans are a result of our position´. The fans have been more than partly responsible for ousting Hughton, which you agree yourself, and which you apparently think is part of a fan´s responsibility, I don´t, especially when done the way it´s been done here, and the discontentment shown on the terraces so clearly has affected the performances on the pitch. As I´ve said before, if fans have a grouse wíth the manager they should vent their anger and frustration solely at the CEO and the other board members, pester them with e-mails and telephone calls until they´re sick to death of them, but don´t do it during matches at the manager, because that invariably filters through to the players as well, which affects their confidence and their performance. In fact the very best way for fans to show their displeasure, and probably the least harmful to the players as well, is for them to stay away, if for three or four home games in a row only 15.000 turned up, I guarantee any CEO would sit up and take notice.

Hi bors, recriminations galore on this forum ! A blames the fans, B says the players are at fault, C states Hughton was the cause of our predicament whereas D says the Board and McNally should have acted sooner.

None of these recriminations are going to change our situation one iota so best to forget them and get behind the manager and the team and cut out the bickering.

If we are to continue our current status then every true supporter must make the effort to encourage the team even though the future does look bleak. What has happened is history, it is the now until the end of the season that matters.

I´d have happily stopped pages ago NORKIE, but when ones comments are picked up on and commented on by someone else, sometimes there´s a need to reply, and certainly not bickering, just exchanging views. OTBC

Whether you supported CH towards then end or not, there is no dispute that he totally split the fan base. Under such circumstances, his departure had to be the right thing, if for no other reason that getting the full (or majority) of support back on-side.

I watched the game on Sky today and have to say that was a pretty meek looking surrender.

3 games, 3 defeats and it doesn't look to me like the players are reacting in the right way to your new Manager.

Sunderland vs Cardiff becomes pretty tough viewing tomorrow...

We are ****ed nobody expects to stay up now, we were not good enough because we can`t score or defend very well.
Mr Nice couldn`t get our players to play attractive football or productive football ,so i`m glad we don`t have to put up with him next season.

Yep, the second half against Liverpool certainly seems an awful long way off now, still think we´d have done just as well under Hughton, (results-wise we certainly couldn´t have done any worse ) despite some of the fans being in uproar.
