If things get too bad, there's always Ipswich.
I used to think you were ok
If things get too bad, there's always Ipswich.
Because for 'most' of his time in charge with us he did stick with a formula. That said, for most of his time with us, it was a winning formula, so why change?
I used to think you were ok
One especially for you Maestro.
An Ipswich van driver used to amuse himself by running over every Norwich City fan he would see strutting down the side of the road in their ubiquitous green and yellow colours. He would swerve to hit them, there would be a loud 'thud' and then he would swerve back on the road.
One day, as the driver was driving along, he saw a priest hitchhiking. He thought he would do a good turn and pulled the van over. He asked the Priest, 'Where are you going, Father?' I'm going to say mass at St. Joseph's church, about 2 miles down the road' replied the priest. 'No problem Father! I'll give you a lift! climb in!'
The happy priest climbed into the passenger seat and the van continued down the road.
Suddenly the driver saw a Norwich fan walking down the road and instinctively swerved to hit him. But, just in time, he remembered the priest, so at the last minute he swerved back to the road, narrowly missing the Norwich fan. However even though he was certain he missed the Norwich fan, he still heard a loud 'thud'. Not understanding where the noise came from, he glanced in his mirrors and when he didn't see anything he turned to the priest and said, 'I'm sorry Father, I almost hit that Norwich fan, ' That's okay' replied the priest. 'I got him with the door!'
Hope it wasn't you Maestro and if it was I hope you're fully recovered now.

And what happened when the formula didn't work?
The old ones are the best. You sure you're not an Ipshit fan is disguise?
I wont hear a word against the man
The Norwich result is the only thing that has cheered me up today

And what happened when the formula didn't work?
Neg rep on the way![]()

And talking about neg rep, look who should just turn up.
Turn it round. Top bloke and good manager. You need a little lift and he appears to be trying to get what everyone knows you need, a goalscorer. Obviously the powers that be need to help him out, but he will remain calm regardless and get you going again.
Sure your not a toon fan,you spend more time sticking your tounge up there arses on here than you do on your board.
As you may have heard, we have just become the first premier League side to be beaten by a non - league side.
Having watched the game albeit via a stream, we were bloody awful. Worse than we were aginst you, worse than against Liverpool. I have honestly seen sunday league sides play better than us today. Not taking anything from luton. They deserved their win.
Right thats the painful crap out of the way....
Chris Hughton.
I would say 99% of Norwich fans were delighted with his appointment, myslef included.
We had seen what he had done with you, and how he was shabbily treated.
We had seen what he had done at Birmingham on a shoestring.
When he was with you, did he have a plan B?
Was he able to switch styles?
During our 10 game unbeaten streak, he was being haioled as a genius, now some are calling for his head. I am not in this camp.
The last 3 games for us have been plain bloody awful. Some of you went to Carrow Road, some of you saw the game via a stream. You saw how bad both teams were. Now imagine us being something like 5 times as bad. That was us today.
Simple question really.
Is CH capable of turning things around or will he stick to his guns and try what he was doing when we went on our unbeaten streak?
Look forward to your replies.

Chris Hughton is still learning the job... he only became a full time manager in 2009 so is still a baby in management terms.
In that time though, he has shown the ability to be a great leader, motivator and tactician.
It's true that he tends to only have two ways of playing - usually 4-4-2 at home and 4-5-1 away with a fair mixture of footballing play. He likes to play decent football but will have no hesitation in 'going long' and being more direct.
It seems strange to use the word 'potential' when talking about Chris Hughton, but that's what it is. I think if you stick with him long-term, he will flourish...
Once he get's to the stage where every player at the club is of his choosing, then I believe Norwich City will really start to fly.
Getting there slowly.
(#6000!)
I love CH and I hope he turns it around at Norwich. Hope he brings in a top striker, I do think you need strenghtening in that department.
