Hello all - I share the view on peddler's cross. The only good thing that hasn't performed in the novices is Grand crus and i have my own view on the market for that but hey ho. Peddlers Cross all the way and that 7/2 could be made to look a gift

In the Pertemps i like Barwell Bridge. Somersby in what looks a really tricky Ryan Air and I'm with Stick on Smad Place. In the Byrne i think Notus de la tour is a lovely price - performed well in much better company than today's and was placed in a festival race in 2010. Last and not least is Sunny Hill Boy in the kim muir.

    Good luck everyone.

Oddy I've heard there's real confidence behind him but I'm with Nass et al in that i can't see him staying.

He's arguably the classiest in the line up and the decent ground will help but they always go a good gallop and I can see him getting outstayed.

Might have to jump ship to Donald Jnr...!!

I looked at him Dan and minus the claim he's off a tempting 141.I just have a nagging suspicion there may be stamina issues.

    Market watch for me.

Anyone know of odds for whether the Queen will turn up tomorrow at HQ? Two runners and she does like a day out at Chelts.

Buena Vista being gambled in the Pertemps, 7s from 12s. Pipe's favourite is on the drift but is short enough. I am very wary of his seemingly forgotten horse, Ashkazaar, who is a big price, is a very classy animal at best, has a 10lb claimer on top and has shown no form this season. I'm suspicious of this one...

Obviously if his yard does have a cough he almost certainly won't be winning any races today with any of his runners!

If BV wins this Pipe should be warned off..<laugh>.

He has been second and won twice in the last three festivals. His runs in between those efforts have been atrocious.

Everyon eknows horses like certain times of the year and certain environments more than others but this beast is campaigned/schooled in public to finish tailed off all winter long to slip back to a competitive mark for Cheltenham.

    Rank behaviour imo!

<cheers> Steveo - Hector's Choice is a lovely horse - I backed him last time at Kempton when he just got outstayed by Nacarat. He has a lot of weight today though

In the 1.30 CHAMPION COURT 8/1 is my selection, won well over C&D LTO on similar going and had SOLIX and INVICTUS 1 1/2l and 8l behind respectively, that form has since been franked when INVICTUS beat BOBS WORTH next time out and we all know what he did in the RSA yesterday.

Said the same last year Dex and was chastised (can't remember who by) for "not loving the great romance of the festival" or some such nonsense. BV may be a decent old campaigner but what they do with him the rest of the year is a joke
