Havent we spent 300m now over 3 windows?
£260m give or take but aye it's in the ball park.

Even new sponsors aren’t going to make that much of a difference. There is no way we’ll get a £50m shirt sponsor and £50m kit deal be more like £20m eachIt was 238 before the Gordon signing so we are about a balls hair away from the 300m mark. With only Wood really bringing any sort of money for us.
Considering we haven't even got that many sponsorships yet bringing in more revenue we have been spending tons.

We will always be net spenders now, not that I give a **** like.
One day the club could be as profitable as City seem to be, which will include serious investment our owners seem more than willing to give.
Yeah, Ashley totally drained the club in his final years. At least in the early days we had players who were worth a few quid, but in the last couple of years we had virtually nobody you could sell to generate any revenue - without literally letting your best player go.Once we start belonging in good players consistently we'll then have assets to sell at a reasonable value. Probl is now we are bringing in decent quality players but have little of value in the squad we would be willing to sell.
Once we have a good squad then the buy / sell rotation can begin. It's just difficult to get there
Was Willock his last purchase?Yeah, Ashley totally drained the club in his final years. Think so myself albeit after a year loanThink so, yeah.
or was it 6 months?6 month loan followed by full purchase, I think.Think so myself albeit after a year loanor was it 6 months?
Yeah that sounds right and in fairness to him his goals more or less kept us up that season.6 month loan followed by full purchase, I think.
Ashley paid up front with transfer fees
Until Willock …..
So he didn't buy him,did the new owners have to cough up the remaining payments?Ashley paid up front with transfer fees

If I remember Willock is the only player that was (is) paid for in instalmentsSo he didn't buy him,did the new owners have to cough up the remaining payments?
