We have lost focus and urgency these last 3 seasons, and it demonstrates the arrogance within the boardroom, unless there is a large measure of humility to blow into the boardroom, nothing will change...........<ok>

Nixon is also reporting Cardiff are in for Dan Gosling. Hes tweeted it earlier and said Cardiff want Gosling but Bournemouth would rather sell Arter.

Theyve splashed out big time on a midfielder. Nixon is normally pretty reliable.

£7M FOR FABIANSKI

Negotiations are continuing today between West Ham and Swanseaover a deal, thought to be worth around £7m, for goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

The former Arsenal keeper has admitted that he’s awaiting news on a move as he prepares for Poland's World Cup opener against Senegal tomorrow.

Sky Sports News understands that the two clubs are yet to settle on the scheduling of payments on a three-year deal, bringing an end to his four-year stay in South Wales.

Speaking in Russia, Fabianski told journalists: ”If I leave, I will regret that it happened at the moment when we fell from the league. I spent beautiful moments there. I remember that the club helped me in a bad time when I had health problems and I wasn't really playing at Arsenal.

"I was trusted and I met many great people in the city, I have a beautiful home there, in which I raised my son. The memories will last a lifetime."

Suggests that the powers that be are more concerned about raising money than having a strong squad

We have a squad more than capable of winning the Championship if we keep our best players and if Potty is any good already. Getting rid of our key players will most certainly put us in unknown territory where god knows where we will be when it comes to challenging the best sides where there are many in the second tier...

Fabianski departure confirmed. This gives someone else the chance to step up so whilst sad not a complete disaster. The main worry is that our first team and academy goalkeeping coaches have also left one to China and the other to South Africa.
