    But they were part of what took us down and they have been treated well by the club. You cant get rid of our best players if under contract and they should not turn their back on the club, They owe the fans who have supported them to the hilt to help the club bounce back and not turn their back on them....I dont call Bournemouth a step up at all even though we were relegated...

    I'm not sure what's left on his contract, but I feel hes undervalued at 7m. The opening offer was 4.5m, which in today's climate is derisory for a decent keeper.

    I agree but I think he is last year which whether we like it or not will change the price, I reckon 10m and we will deal.

    He must be cheap and on the lowest wage category......Useful 10 years ago but can't see him playing many games...

    Surely he can do better than Fulham? £7Million? I wouldn't let him go for less than £10Million...................<ok>

    It is madness to let any of our decent players go in the first season imo. Now we have to look for a decent striker ourselves and that will cost a lot more than £7m for the type of quality we need......The same as Fab who we should keep however long he has on his contract, To leave him go to Bournemouth so cheap is pathetic because where are we going to find a keeper of his quality to replace him......We are commiting suicide

    Am I being a bit pessimistic, but not a great deal seems to be happening or coming from the club on our rebuild or is it just simply that the World cup is on. I know it is ther same for others but only six weeks till the window closes and we aren't the quickest when it comes to getting deals done.
