Heinz 57!!! Different forum.![]()
Will be interesting to see if he's at the Birmingham game tomorrow. If he has thrown his toys out etc, Clement comes across as someone who will tell him to **** off. If he's not playing tomorrow, he's gone.

That's the other whisper, he hasn't travelled to Birmingham. Will be interesting to see if he's at the Birmingham game tomorrow. If he has thrown his toys out etc, Clement comes across as someone who will tell him to **** off. If he's not playing tomorrow, he's gone.
I think we have to face up the very real prospect he will be going very soon
The sooner we get rid the better, He is playing us like a fool and will keep his options going until all bids are exhausted and he gets the highest wage possible......No player is bigger than the club and clem should turn around and say Thats it iv had enough your staying for this season and all bids are off.....We own his contract so be a man and if he dont like it and continues to moan then Bench the Fcuker......He will soon realize who pays his wages and we can ruin his career if we wanted too...
It's the tax man.Why do you think it's Gylfi delaying the transfer?
Very possible - sell him after 1 August and the tax on the profit from his sale will fall into next years accounts....It's the tax man.1st of August

I dont think he is in the squad for Brum - Siggy is going! If the club wanted him to stay they would make it official and end all speculation......He had better be in Brum tonight or even the club are playing us for fools...

Its like a Brian Rix farceIf the club wanted him to stay they would make it official and end all speculation......He had better be in Brum tonight or even the club are playing us for fools...
Oh thats fukn wonderful. In all probability Siggy will be going so the timing has to be right and in our favour.
Good point by Never, I hadn't thought of the tax angle in this deal. We sell Siggy before 1 August we pay tax on any income from the sale this year. Delay the deal a week and we don't have to pay tax on it for over a year. Good point never
Also there's the 10% sell on we have with Spurs to consider too. We Siggy for £50m, we have to pay Spurs £5m. So the board could well be splitting up paying 10% to Spurs this year and any tax due next year.
I think the board are up for the sale at the right price and Siggy will be wearing Blue come start of the season.
It would be a fair bit of money, so hold out keep the tax paid then spend it, thus reducing the corporation tax for 2019. Still annoying all this uncertainty!!Oh thats fukn wonderful.
And our rebuilding plans go on hold so we hold onto a bit of tax?
