I'm with you Taff. No surprise there then. I can't believe the Club are seriously thinking of taking Terry on in his twilight years. Don't like him as a person, and don't want him at The Liberty, not even on £100.00 per week. £100,000 per week equates to TWO quality players, and that is surely a preferred option. What is Makele's role if not to mentor the likes of Mawson ?
Didn't realise wages would be so high and have to agree for an old man then no, at the right price I would take him. I see this guy is available as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelechi_Iheanacho also been told we have been linked with this guy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandro_Wagner
We will be linked in both directions with every man and his dog now until the window closes it all gets rather boring.
I cant stand Terry as a person after his exploits with his best friends wife, but he was a great defender all the same. He could teach a lot about defending to our players but for £100k a week then we would need to cut his wages by half or move on....Far too expensive at this time of his career and would rather spend that sort of money on a quality striker....
Siggy just received awards at a get together , what do you think he would say . I'll believe it when the window closes and he's still with us .
He's said he wants to stay. Unlike some players, he genuinely loves being in Swansea. If he leaves, its because the weasels will decide to cash in.
OUTS (in my humble opinion) - Dyer, Routledge, Baston, van der Hoorn, Fer, Rangel, Tremmel, Emnes, Bartley, Gomis to start with.
I can see Bartley and Gomis returning for next season. Bartley hopefully having benefited from a season on loan at Leeds. Gomis has been scoring for fun since he went out on loan, so perhaps he will return with a fresh desire to rekindle his career at Swansea. It will only take a couple of goals for him to win over the fickle fans'. Were they to both come good, it would be akin to having two new signings for no outlay. That would be nice. Especially so for Jenkins.
I'd keep Bartley, looks like he's turned into a very good defender this season. I'd keep Dyer and Routs at the moment, but only because I'd sell a Montero and Barrow before them. Ideally I'd sell the four of them. Rangel we need to keep - player coach or something, but he shouldn't leave the club. Baston is a conundrum but as for the rest, I agree.
I'm not sure about Bartley - but I guess being coached by PC and his back room staff may be the key to unlocking his potential
Judging by the way the Leeds fans have talked him up this season, it looks like Monk already has. For me, I'd keep Bartley and sell Amat and VDH. I still think we need a top CB in the summer to come into the team. Still not convinced by Mawson and Fernandez yet.

Clearly coming to the end of his illustrious playing career, but I see him as part of the furniture. Perhaps he could become an ambassador at large, particularly in Spain, where he could spend some time looking for another Michu, or indeed, another Rangel.
I am still to be convinced a good season in the Championship doesn't necessarily make a PL player. I would keep him, but I don't see him as a starter and I still believe we need to sign another CB. The few games I have watched him on the TV, he is still prone to wander and lose his player. Yes he has improved, still not convinced he is our answer. Squad member at best.
