Brandon Cooper has completed a transfer to Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance. The 24-year-old links up again with the O’s in League One, having spent the first half of the 2023-24 campaign on loan at the Gaughan Group Stadium. After joining Swansea at the age of six, Cooper progressed through the ranks to make his first-team debut against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup in 2018. He enjoyed loan spells with Yeovil and Newport County, making a big impression during his time at Rodney Parade as he was named EFL young player of the month for October during the 2020-21 season. Further loan spells at Swindon Town and Forest Green Rovers have followed in recent seasons, while Cooper – a Wales youth international – has made 11 first-team appearances in total for the Swans at senior level. Everyone at Swansea City wishes Brandon well in his future career.

Swansea City has completed the signing of Ronald from Gremio Anapolis for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance and visa approval. The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract through to the summer of 2027, which includes the option of an additional 12 months. Ronald - who will wear the number 35 shirt - will add pace and athleticism to head coach Luke Williams’ options in the final third. He had been under contract with Gremio Anapolis until 2026. The forward started his career with hometown club Corumbaense, making his senior debut at the age of just 17 in 2019. A switch to Atletico Goianiense followed in 2021 before a loan to Gremio Anapolis which saw him help the club win the regional Campeonato Gaiano. His performances saw the loan become a permanent transfer, and Ronald has since played for Guarani in his homeland before spending the last 18 months on loan with Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora. Ronald helped them secure promotion to the Primeira Liga, and he has made 17 top-flight appearances so far this term.
