Right folks first and foremost don't go shooting the messenger here, but I ve been speaking to a colleague this morning who works within the EPL and he's told me on good authority that Mr Celustka is in advanced talks with Sunderland club officials with regards to his move being made permanent in the January transfer window. By all accounts the lad is very settled and is said to be very happy at the club. Not sure I am totally convinced by the lad yet, but there you have it, that's what I've heard from someone genuine.

Don't want to be rude but what does "works within the EPL" mean? A footballer? A manager or member of a sides coaching staff? A barman in a ground? A bloke who sells burgers outside the ground? Don't need to give much away I'm just a bit confused about the source.

I like celustka and I think he'll be pretty cheap.

Well Mr Northern Soul as you can see I have been coming on this site a wee bit longer than you ( and whilst I mean no disrespect what with you being a MOD an all), most of the original's will probably know exactly who I am referring too when I talk about this colleague who works within the EPL as I ve made mention of him before and information hes passed onto me in the past. This post is not about who my informant was but, what I had heard in good faith. Whilst I am not prepared to name him on here, if you would care to PM me and Il be more than happy to let you know who he is.

No you haven't. I was on in January 2011 following 606 going. This is my second account. I didn't really want to start a pissing contest.

Whether you've mentioned him before or not doesn't really matter. I don't want you to name him as that could lead to trouble for the both of you. I'm not calling bullshit or questioning you as a poster. I wasn't even questioning his credibility, merely wondering what "works within the EPL" means.

wasnt there a price in the contract of around 2.5 million. that was the talk when he signed anyway. good buy at that type of money. i think he has looked decent and we have spent a lot more on a lot worse in the past

Works within the EPL..... he works on the field of play. Hope that's sufficient to quell your curiosity.

Have to back biffa here - his source has been mega reliable over the times we've seen hijm post northern. I would question some people when they use that term but biffa has always been top notch when it comes to this

i think there was that price mate. rings a bell. good value for a player who is only just getting to grips with the league and yet to find his best form

He got Adam Johnson wrong tho <laugh>.

I'm still not sure about Celustka. gives far too many passes away for my liking.

Yes iirc, all overseas loan deals already have a permanent deal agreed, sure that was the fee
