2.0 TDI. Went manual, not a fan of Automatic/DDG box
We bought a new Karoq dsg . Wish I had gone manual . Easy to drive , just don’t have that total control . Probably change it in 2 years anyway .

Pick up a new bimmer tomorrow.
5 series M Sport, Alpine white. Lush as ****.
Just in time to drive to Wembley Saturday and have some **** scratch it in the car park.

Does it come with indicators, or is it still an optional extra?![]()
Nah, they don't do that anymore.
You know you can drive it as a manual if you wish right? We bought a new Karoq dsg . Wish I had gone manual . Easy to drive , just don’t have that total control . Probably change it in 2 years anyway .

i much prefer full auto myself .not a true manual if you become pedantic, which I am known for......
I still prefer wiggle stuck/clutch over the semi auto stuff

ah but to me all driving means is a means of getting from a to be preferably as easily as possible .For me it depends what sort of car you’re driving. My Touareg is an auto and it suits it perfectly, because it’s a big torquey unit that hugs the road and is built for luxury and comfort.
If I was driving a Golf or similar, I’d definitely go for a manual to get that more connected driver experience, when you want to chuck it round the corners.

I prefer the bus for the gazing out the window daydreaming experience

You're living in London though. I simply didn't bother owning a car when I lived there as public transport is so good. A car is just a pain in the arse.
I'd usually do a couple of trips down to Cornwall or the west country each year though. And I'd buy a cheap old banger, like £200 job (This is back in the early 90's) not bother to tax or insure it, use it for a couple of weeks and then sell it on when I got home![]()
If you come up here before October let me know, and you can buy my vintage 3 Series. It has to go due to the ULEZ extension, which means it would cost me £12 a day. Bit gutted tbh.
What age 3 series have you got?
