In all honesty, it's in the garage now being fixed. Managed to get an OEM part for a 1/4 of what an original VW part costs. Hopefully the labour won't kill me, but it needs doing, so.... it needs doing.

Having re-read the warranty I know I'm covered so **** 'em.
Can't be arsed with a hire car, I'll just claim this morning's train fare back and then get a lift Friday.
Was a supposed to have a lift this morning but the kid phoned in sick!
Who the **** does that, calls sick when he's giving his ****ing boss a lift? Twat.
He's not coming back here, if his hangover, sorry illness, is that bad he can recuperate for the whole week and not get paid.

And even if you do... If you know you're giving your boss a lift then you man up and ****ing do it. You never know when you might need those brownie points... might have even come in handy that day ffs!
