My contribution to the 'debate' was that Tevez is irrelevant to United and you told me not to post then too.

I suggest you look up the definition of article and debate then re read your OP.

Stop arguing over the most pointless thing, if he wants to post a Tevez article on the United board, who cares? If you do then I suggest you get a life

Can't remember any player refusing to come off the bench - players have thrown sickies just before games but i think this is a first - anyone remember this happening before

    How long is his contract?

Kick him to the reserves. City have an (almost) unlimited supply of money. Tell him in not-so-many-words that he'll be expected to train with the reserves from now until the end of his contract but he will not be picked for the team...ever. See how he likes it with 2 years of being fined EVERY TIME he's late for training knowing he's never going to play for the team.

No-one will want him after 2 years without competitive action, and he'll lose the media spotlight he loves so much. It'll teach him a huge lesson, and show the other egos at the club that City cannot be messed with.

I'm not normally one for venturing onto other teams boards, but this business with Tevez is crazy.

If he really did refuse to come off the bench then either:

    a) He should have triggered a gross misconduct clause in his contract and should be collecting his p45

    or

    b) To spend the money buying him out of his contract, I'd put the little ****er in the stand 'til his contract runs out.

Refuse to come off the bench indeed???

  8. This thing is, most of £ity's players don't even make the bench. That's a recipe for disaster if ever there was one!

  9. Sure, I do. But it speaks more truth than the hack journalism that we are fed on a daily basis.

Anyway, the tabloids don't let the truth get in the way of a decent argument, so why should we <laugh>

    Its everything that City deserve.

No sympathy for any party here and can only hope it spirals out of control because it couldnt happen to a nice club or player.

Right now though all eyes on Balotelli, rumour is he likes to be class clown and doesnt take kindly to others stepping on his toes.

  13. And it's not so easy to avoid stepping on a clown's toes, as they have very long shoes.

    There are numerous reasons

Man City have more buying power than Man Utd
You have the audacity to be based in Manchester
You buy or at least tap up many of their players
The top four is a closed shop - if your name isn't on the list you are not supposed to get in.

Because if you sign your soul away like city did then you cant complain when it goes tits up can you.

**** all to do with money. Man Utd have much much more money than City will ever know. Dont confuse man city and man utd with our owners btw.

    Absolute horse leavings.

nited are doing everything, EVERYTHING they can do to get more money into the club. Doing anything to generate cash. I also find it's starting to get annoying that everyone lies saying they wouldn't be happy if a rich owner took over and brought all the top european players in.

Lies the lot of it, Pure horse leavings.

They've been poaching every player who will even consider moving club for a higher salary. Tevez from Utd, Nasri and Clichy from Arsenal, Lescott from Everton, the list goes on.

If you sign such a bunch of mercenaries then you can hardly complain when one of them turns around and bites the hand that feeds them...
