I Seem to recall many a Brian Clough post match speach and there's not many in the football world that would argue his credentials

What Mancini has done for you is fabulous, remember that it's a successful winning manager that helps attract players, i know you have money, but if you ha a donkey at the helm would Aguero etc have actually even bothered to look. Anzhi haven't managed to acquire that many stars so back your manager

At the end of the day Carlos is unfortunately one of thos troubled footballers who can't keep his antics and his football seperate - didn't you have Joey Barton once??

All summer he's been crying to leave and the press have lapped up his bench appearances of late, I wouldn't be surprised if his agent didn't suggest the idea . . . talented footballer, lots of press . . . doesn't matter if it's for the wrong reasons, gets his name in the paper and gives him the attention (maybe not the attention Carlos would prefer but hey, manufacturing a move is manufacturing a move)

He signed a contract to play, he's in breach of the contract and hoping City will terminate it. For the board now it's a case of either terminate him now or continue to pay his wages and leave him to rot

I know they have money but, a bad apple around costing millions in wages doesn't make good Math to me, he'll be terminated by the end of the week and playing for some Brazilian or Argentine team by the end of October

But make no mistake, ragardless of what a talent he's been and what a talisman he was for you last season, you have to back your manager . . otherwise you're no better than him

For me, Mancini hasn't got enough authority over the squad. There seems to be a lot of festering disharmony, and the manager isn't getting to grips with it.

If I remember correctly, Fergie offered a deal based on what he believed Tevez was worth, and Tevez opted for City.

which is why im not shocked by this. His career at city has been the same as at united. 2 years of "passion" and peddling bullshit like " i have such a great relationship with the fans" followed by a stab in the back. Its his pattern. Actually refusing to play for city now. The weasel has hit new lows.

Personally as a supporter who cares about united and its history not just the current first 11 im mildly interested in what ex united players get upto and usually wish them well although in the Tevez case it is nice to see him exposed as the odious toad he is.

Taken nicely out of context there. This wasn&#8217;t some warm message eulogising about ex United players.

Tevez doesn&#8217;t deserve to be mentioned on the same page as the players you say, he&#8217;s a horrible turncoat and is proving himself to be so once again at City. This is the reason why I said a post about him immediately after we&#8217;d scraped through a home European game was irrelevant to the United board.
It was just a crappy wind up post by a crappy poster but in hindsight as more information has emerged it was indeed topical. I still think it should be aimed at City fans though as he is currently stealing his living with them, not us. Thankfully.

You obviously feel strongly to have registered just to make this point but you have mistaken me completely, I owe loads to the players you mentioned and absolutely nothing to Tevez, which is why he get&#8217;s on my nerves so much.

I dare say that not many neutrals are going to be crying over this, or feeling sorry for $ity. You've reaped what you have sown - a greedy footballer, with a monstrous ego has reached the point where he believes he is bigger and better than the club that employs him.

If your Arab playboy owner has any pride, he'll (a) sack Tevez with immediate effect and exclude him from the training ground, and (b) sue him and his greedy agent for breach of contract. Instead, I rather suspect that your playboy owner will try to sell him in the January window, which means that you'll effectively be rewarding Tevez for taking the piss out of the club, the manager, his fellow players, and you fans. Sure, they'll try to play it down, by concocting some story along the lines that there was a misunderstanding between Mancini and Tevez, in the hope that the fans are stupid enough to buy it, but us neutral fans are here to talk you through it, should that happen <ok>

In the meantime, you cannot blame a certain type of neutral fan for viewing Tevez as a cult hero, for bringing $ity to its knees. You see, a lot of intelligent pundits were worried that $ity would ruin football with its bottomless pit of money and its ability to buy success at any cost, but it is now clear that that will never happen, because the greed and the avarice will eat $ity from the inside out and destroy it, long before football is ruined. So, in a way, Tevez may end up being the saviour of football in this country. It's worth thinking about.
 
Tevez is an utter disgrace.. to say no to coming on to play for your club when you are on the salary that he earns is disgraceful. Many people in the world would love to play some champions league football in one of the best stadiums in the world and yet a spoilt brat like tevez just says no.

The egos in that city dressing room could destroy what chances they have of winning some trophies this season.
