Yup Chazz - KTC had a good debut against you up there. He can be exciting going forward but has been caught out a few times. Having said that, Fabio has been worse in many's opinion. He is no fullback in a million years - far better IMO playing him right side midfield because he does have some pace and likes to get forward.

Not sure why OGS bought him except that he knew him from his years at Man U and the fact that he was cheap being out of contract this summer.

I'd like to see KTC or even Macnaughton at RB. If KTC can do the same job on Brady again, I'd be well pleased.

Brady won't be playing. Our left side is a problem at the moment.

Sorry to disappoint, but they're planning a joint protest with the City Ulltras on Saturday.

I bet Tan is really worried now - quaking in his boots no doubt.

As for the football Happy, I thought it was you that came up with us mate, not the other way around - last day stuff I seem to remember.......<laugh>

Good that you made it - I always said you were my preferred choice to do it because of my time spent up there working. <ok>

So it appears I was right that Old Sparkey is the Cardiff 'Happy Tiger'.

In fact come to think of it, I recall him being on here at the time of the colour/crest/identity change saying he was very happy for it all to happen if Tan bought them success.

Hi guys - it's us lot again. Saturday sees you down here for the return game after we shared the points at the KC back in September. A lot of things have happened at both our clubs since then - and certainly not all for the good.

As far as the football is concerned, there's 5 points in it at the moment between us, and you deserve to be there - we have been dreadful on occasions and have got what we deserve.

You've got the Bruce continuity going for you despite the Allam issues hitting the headlines, whereas we've ditched Murky Mackay (don't believe all you read in the media) and replaced him with OGS.

New ballpark for us, but I guess its much of the same for you - wonder which of those two scenarios is going to make the difference on Saturday.

Let's forget about the off-field stuff that's afflicted both our clubs recently and concentrate on the game. What do you think that 5 point gap going into it will be come Saturday evening - and just as importantly, why. <ok>

Good post. Well i think that the Fulham owner/s is running neck and neck with your own Vincent Tan with Dr Allam lagging way behind. Lol. On a more serious note.....

As for on the field issues. It is good to know(for us that is) that Cardiff will be missing 2 of there best players on saturday. Gary Medel(injured) and Craig Bellamy(3rd game suspension) whilst we shall welcome back Shane Long and Niki Jelavic.

I wish you all the best after saturday but for now COME ON YOU 'ULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAA.

IMO, 3 of the bottom 6 now will go down.

Bruce has said Chester is a chance of playing Cardiff.

Chester will start on monday against Brighton. Bruce jnr was not risked @ Brighton even when Faye came off with a slight bump. I would play Faye again to take care of Kenwyn Jones.

There's a catalogue of errors we could go into, but the stellar achievement must be the signing of Cornelius for £8M and £45K a week for 5 years, which with obscene agent's fees made a total comittment of £20M. The one year wonder in a poor league was sold back to Copenhagen 6 months later for £3M and an agreement over his wage contract - it cost the club £8.5M net.

The fact is the Malky and his HoR Moody wasted over £12M up front of Tan's money up front with some disastrous decision making.

The "Murky" mutation of his name refers to his manipulation of the media and is nothing to do with any alleged personal gains by him or Moody. There has been no public suggestion of that that I am aware and no evidence to support the rumblings.

One significant factor may be the outright refusal of Tan to pay up the rest of Malky's contract as he would have to do if he dismissed him for no reason other than choice. You would think Malky would challenge that through the courts - after all, he had a contract. The silence is deafening.

Interesting info OldSparkey. There are some Hull fans who thought he was a great signing for you on here. Even moaned that Steve Bruce was not splashing the cash at the time. I do think that we have better value for money from the 2 transfer windows. I guess the Odemwingie signing was also bad business for Cardiff or did Stoke insist on him being part of the swap ?

Sorry to disappoint, but they're planning a joint protest with the City Ulltras on Saturday.

Now that should be a good laugh to watch. Must get a ticket for it. <whistle>

Ask any neutral and they'll tell you it's AA and Tan who are neck and neck, with Khan lagging way behind.

Not by any means ^^^^^ this. <ok>

Tickler - three signings said it all for us regarding Malky's Premier management skills - Cornelius, Odemwingie and Brayford. More than £12M between them and all now left the club (Brayford out on loan to Sheef Utd in league One - that says it all).

Odem was a waste of space with us and Brayford was nowhere near Prem standard but we still paid over £2M for him. The least said about Corny the better.

Hatman - find that quote pal and I'll applaud you all the way for your powers of recall - in other words put up or shut the **** up. <ok>

No idea who Happy Tiger is on your board, neither am I interested in the comparison. If you want to pigeonhole posters on the basis of them having similar opinions at different clubs about totally different sets of circumstances, more fool you. I only have the briefest of knowledge of your club's ownership issues and feel unqualified to comment on them unlike you shooting from the lip who probably knows even less about Cardiff.

If you've had your fill now, perhaps you can shut your trap about it on this thread which was posted to discuss the upcoming game, and the points gap between our two clubs come Saturday evening given that we both came up together last season, have similar background off-field issues, and both look in danger of going back down at the moment.

Will it be 8 points, 5 points or 2 points, the only possibilities.

Good stuff again OS. Well, as i have posted already the fact that Cardiff will not have either Medel or Bellamy is a massive plus for us and we shall have Long and Jelavic back. Plus Aluko looked good but can he start again ? twt.
For sure i am expecting Hull to win but a draw is not the end of the world for us.

The majority of Cardiff fans i know agree with sparky about the waste of money but hate the fact the owner has messed with their colour and badge. Before the season started i was telling them they were spending like QPR for no reason, they reckoned i was jealous, they all sing a different tune now.

No disrespect intended, but "spending money like water" is usually a jibe made at those who've got it to spend by those who haven't. The QPR situation was out of control from the moment Fernandes decided half way through the season that survival would be attempted at all costs - ours was a completely different scenario.

Spending money in the summer window is not the problem - it's just a question of spending it wisely and Malky didn't. The £35M (inc agents fees etc) he allegedly spent on Caulker, Medel, Cornelius, Odemwingie and Brayford etc should have been enough to ensure us a more comfortable position in the table than we're experiencing now. The fact is we're in the **** now because of it.

Ole has his work cut out this second half of the season - he was given £6M in the Jan window to pull it together. The money squanderd by Malky in the summer could cost us our Prem place.

Yes, they started well with that win v Catalan Dragons

No mate, the Catalan Dragons were later - it was the win over the Abu Dhabi Allstars that started it off. In fact, I'd say that game was a bigger problem winning it than if we'd lost it.

The media jumped on it with a frenzy. We'd beaten them in only our second game in the Prem, and the headlines turned everyone's heads away from the facts of football life. Everyone started to believe the hype, and when we did go on later and beat the Spanish Armada, Malky was annointed and deified as the second coming.

History now, and those facts of Premier League life tend to come home as the season progresses. Two tier league for sure, and despite some "odd" (I won't say fluke) results, we are firmly also rans scrambling to stay up through the last dozen games with probabaly about ten others.
