Think it may be good news for us: if I was Harry I would be looking for some stability after his recent ordeal and equally the FA will need to come up with more than a stop gap with 5 months before the Euros.

Fabio Capello has resigned as England manager, the Football Association has confirmed.
Capello resigned after a meeting with FA chairman David Bernstein and general secretary Alex Horne at Wembley.
An FA statement read: "The Football Association can confirm that Fabio Capello has today resigned as England manager."
On Monday, the Italian publicly challenged the FA's decision to strip John Terry of the captaincy.
The FA's statement continued: "The discussions focused on the FA Board's decision to remove the England team captaincy from John Terry, and Fabio Capello's response through an Italian broadcast interview.
"In a meeting for over an hour, Fabio's resignation was accepted and he will leave the post of England manager with immediate effect.
Bernstein said: "I would like to stress that during [the] meeting and throughout his time as England manager, Fabio has conducted himself in an extremely professional manner.
"We have accepted Fabio's resignation, agreeing this is the right decision. We would like to thank Fabio for his work with the England team and wish him every success in the future."
A media conference with David Bernstein and the Club England management team will take place at Wembley Stadium on Thursday at 1200 GMT.
The FA will not be making any further comment until the media conference.

I think this plays into our hands. Harry will not leave before the end of the season; The club has stood by him when lots wouldn't. Also we are in far too delicate a position for him to take the job part-time. To think that he could take the job in May with a month to go to the tournament, is naive. He has no experience of the set-up and would have to pick a coaching staff too. I think they will go for somebody else, at least for the Euros. The timing is just not right for either party.

What's so ****ing attractive about the England job? It's a no brainer for me. He's building a fantastic team at Spurs and could lead them to a Champions League title next season. The squad is good enough and Liverpool and Porto have done it in recent years.
He will manage England in the Euros and not get past the Group Stage. Quarter Final if he's lucky and this entire countries media will be on his back telling him he's over rated.

Speaking from experience, I reckon he will leave, quick smart.
But, he did turn down Newcastle, when he was at Pompey, but that was down to the fact that he won't leave Sandbanks.
So, sadly, Spurs fans, I think you've had it.

I'd be amazed if harry doesn't take over the England job, though I think he will carry on with you all til the end of the season..

as chirpy stated no chance they leave it that late for a manager, so if it's Harry it's now or never but he should/must stay after his comments today
The FA don't like controversial managers with opinions of their own (hence they went for Ron Greenwood over Brian Clough, as well as duff selections such as Keegan and McClaren), which is one likely reason 'Arry won;t be offered the job.
As they said the next England manager "has" to be English, they've painted themselves into a corner - other than 'Arry, the only legitimate candidate is Alan Pardew, or maybe Roy Hodgson if you gloss over his Liverpool reign and the fact he's from Croydon. They'd prefer a yes man, which points to someone more like Ray Wilkins or Peter Reid.
