As a Swans fan, please stay with Spurs 'arry. And I mean that wholeheartedly not at all noticing that Harry has bigged up our manager to his superiors!

STAY AWAY!!!! GO FOR A MANAGER WITH ESTABLISHED EUROPEAN PEDIGREE PLEASE.

Highly probable, it is my opinion that the England manager's job is a part time role anyway.

No one gives a flying f**k about football in the Olympics, 1.5 million unsold tickets!!!

He'll drop it in a heartbeat if they offer him the England job on a caretaker basis.

I think Capello has left not because he necessarily wanted to keep Terry as captain, but because he feels that if the FA go above his head in such matters then it undermines his image and authority in the media and with the players. He is a manager who feels that he needs total control for himself and unconditional support from his superiors (when in the job anyway), as to not have this means that he feels he has lost control, and he will not accept this.

I hope we can keep hold of Redknapp

Interested in the England job, I assume?

    EDIT: Correctly, apparently.

Arrys a fantastic manager there's no doubt about that. But what he's done for Spurs will not be undone if he left for England, He's left you with a great crop of players and a good youth set up. Get in the right replacement and it could turn you in to a nailed on top 4 team for seasons to come <ok>

    Just read this.

Redknapp insists Levy was aware of the case against him when he was hired at White Hart Lane in 2008, and he credited the entire club for its loyalty throughout the trial.

"I want to thank the support I've had from Tottenham, the support from Daniel Levy," Redknapp stated. "If ever he thought there was a problem when he gave me this job - this was going on over three years ago - he would never have employed me. He knew this was a case that should never have come to court.

"I especially have to thank the fans of Tottenham - the Wigan game was the most moving I've ever felt it. To have them singing my name throughout the game, that will always be special to me. I'll never forget that.

"Five years this has been hanging over us, I'm really looking forward to getting home. It's been a nightmare, five years for a case that should never have come to court. It's unbelievable.

"It was horrendous but it was a unanimous decision, the jury were unanimous that there was no case to answer."

Where's Glen Hoddle when you need him? He's got enough experience to lead England to the Euros.

All I can say is....... Thank **** for that! Capello has been a very poor international manager, failing to form any kind of team or instil any spirit. A complete waste who kept picking the same inept individuals and only bowing to pressure with bad grace when he wanted to prove a point (Henderson against France being a case in point).

As for a replacement? The FA should just write off the Euros (we will still perform as we usually do, ie badly) and have a stop gap. Hoddle maybe. A nightmare team of Psycho/Beckham as the new odd couple? Run the team by Phone-vote! Ring 0800 1966 10 for.... Emile Heskey to lead the line! Ring 0800 1966 09 for Scott Carson in goal! Ring 0800 1966 08 to bring Chris Kamara out of retirement!
