Good luck to Caleb. He could quickly become the 'darling of the Rapids' die-hards this season.
Poor Jozy, by comparison, got a mere 4 minutes play with Bursaspor yesterday in a 0-0 draw and now has a 0 goals from 6 appearances stat. He may be playing at a couple of levels above Caleb but he doesn't seem to be getting much opportunity.

Good start for Caleb. I would say the general MLS standard is about old Division 3 in the UK. Just to explain the pronunciation of his name. In the UK most words the emphasis is put on the first sylable i.e FO-lan. In the US however, the emphasis is put on the second sylable hence Fo-LAN. So this is not unusual. Here endeth the lesson.

Come on everyone!! FFS we all saw Folan over 3 years show us how bad he IS. He could score 10 every weekend in the good old U S of A and he'd still be ****.

Getting on a plane will not turn Craig ***an into Messi, it hasn't done it to Folan either. He's playing at a level way below Grimsby end of.

Methinks the Colorado Rapids side of sunday would have turned over the Hull side of Saturday...come to think of it Grimsby would have given them a run for their money...

Is this the best you can do Lambrini carp on about the size of the crowd....perhaps the weather had something to do with it...it was +30C the day before but -2C at the game!....and snowing...the crowd was just under 10,000 but they created a far better atmosphere than we did on Saturday !...and what does that tell you about the styles of play and their respective management styles ? ...but you utter not a word about Folan' s high quality performance never mind the goals.....your silence is deafening....give the lad credit when it is due...2 finishes of the highest class...the first a left footer placed in the far corner after he bewildered the defender and the second a towering placed header from a move he started on the half way line...oh we could do with him now ....to give the fans something to cheer about never mind give us much needed points....perhaps your senses have been numbed Lambrini by the dross we are served up with but have some generosity of spirit for an ex player of ours who always gave 100% for the cause....

Hello Mrs Folan :emoticon-0110-tongu There's so much praise for him there and brown nosing of Caleb it looks too much like a wind up! And as for your last point, you're off the ****ing chain, he gave 100% in his first season, but then too say that about someone who turns round to the manager and said they were too tired to play is laughable. Do one muppet.

I watch the MLS games here in Oz mainly because of Danny Allsopp last season (where he failed to impress with DC United) and this season with Caleb. The standard is about UK League 1 and 2. I was interested in the Rapids Conor Casey (he's the white bloke above with the bald head) after reading pre-season adulation from the fans as a great goal scorer but after watching the initial games this season I have come to the conclusion that he wouldn't get a game in the UK Conference. In a word - "hopeless"!
It is easy to see how players like Freddy Adu and Jozy Altidore made a name for themselves in the Mickey Mouse League and then fell in a hole when they ventured outside. there are exceptions like Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey who have made the grade but the majority leave a lot to be desired. Caleb took the Rapids to their wage-budget limit and is on about 3 and a half grand (pounds) per week which is less than a quarter of what he was getting with us. There are, I believe, many perks attached to the job (nudge-nudge, wink-wink, say no more) so good luck to the bloke.

I'd heard of Conor Casey and I was really surprised seeing how clumsy he looks in those clips, he looks shocking.

Tigga777 scoring in the MLS means nothing, Folan is still nowhere near and never will be anywhere near good enough for Championship football.

Your love for the man is quite alarming unless of course you actually are Mrs Folan or Caleb himself.
