City fans will only be happy with Guardiola or Mourinho as they're good-looking and have won european cups.. FFS grow up.. Davies better for me in the championship, although you could argue Bruce needs a fresh start, but whoever it is give them enough time and financial backing pls..

Someone in the HDM comments mentioned a Rod Bradley former USA boss now Egypt national boss or something and says it is either him or Rossler. Well thats another new name then.

I guess it's it a case of no-one knows apart from an inside few who definately aren't saying, so these are all just scurrilous rumours and it's always fun to speculate but, this has gone on long enough we need to know! As, whoever it is, will be an indicator of the season we can expect! Makes you wonder the longer it goes on is if it's someone they are trying hard to persuade or, if they still have no real idea who it might be.....

The Allams said last week they'd narrowed their search down to two. I think they've both either turned us down or are hanging on for better offers, Norwich, Swansea even Blackburn maybe.
Can't see Bruce coming until all the premiership clubs have settled into new managers and his better options have gone

Not sure anyone wants the job its not like they are all throwing their names into the hat.How many of the names being linked have turned out to have not even been asked yet the bookies have them in the race or have turned us down. Can't believe it could be the middle of next week before we hear out.

Someone said something about second interviews this weekend.

So, presumably Ehab will interview Assem, then Assem will interview Ehab. Then they'll meet up to discuss which of the two gets the job?

Isnt it Bob Bradley? He did excellently with USA and was linked with many high-profile jobs.

Perhaps the Allems already have their man and are enjoying toying with thousands of people(many business men are like that!).Was they any reason Avram grant or Southgate not mentioned with the million others?.

This is nothing to do with me, other than it is from a poster on another forum - who is legit. Always used to get the teams in advance, and knows the Allams.
I'd be happy to vouch for it's credibilty....

"Speculation about our new managerhas amused the Allam's greatly. They are down to a short list of two, both of whom will have a further interview over this weekend. Neither name has figured seriously in any bookies odd lists, certainly recently. So you take it that it's not Bruce.

If they can keep everyting so tightly under wraps with so much speculation going on, it seems to me that they are better at this game than a lot give them credit for. "
"As I've said before, I've dealt with them over the years in their main business, and I know how they conduct themselves. They may not be very pleasant people some of the time, and you'd always be careful of crossing them, but they do know how to manage a business. They will use the media when it suits them, and not when it doesn't. Whatever they do will be above board, honest, and legal, if not always very pleasant. "

He just likes living at the seaside, much better than where he lives in Burnley.

Can't really see us paying compo either to be honest with you, my money is still on Billy Davies and my reasoning is simple--he has kept his gob shut for too long regarding it--unlike him!!!
