A Brucie bonus...Would Bruce want to come to HCAFC? I can't see it happening, but stranger things have happened.

Someone in the office just said they had heard it on KCFM that Bruce had signed with us until 2014 but I can't find this anywhere else so I think she misheard. If it is not Bruce and none of the others mentioned what is going on.

Takes me back to the "inundated with applications" "scouring Europe" - really!!

Mike White has also just said. It on Twitter and 1pm sport news, who the fook is it then?

Rumours of Colin jumping ship to Nottingham Forest IF the proposed new owners get there way.

I really hope it's not Bruce or McCarthy.

There must be some up and coming managers out there, with new and fresh ideas. We need our own Rodgers, Lambert, Martinez, eh,... oh, we had one a month or so a go!

It is impressive that the Allam's are not leaking anything, bodes well for future transfer discussions, etc.

Wishful thinking, he'll be there until he dies, no buyer will ever meet his valuation.

For that read one idea and took a team on a terrible run of form (1 win in 11 was it?) from a sturdy looking play-off if not automatic chance to nowhere near.

I agree with Bosco also if we do well Bruce will jump ship in a flash as he has done before, oh well least the European wide search for great football managerial talent paid off for the Allams with Mrs Doubtfire ready to take charge

It's not ideal (he actually looks like a dinner lady) but compared to the other names mentioned he seems like one of the best options available.

I think this is more likely.

I'd rather have Bruce than an unknown name at least people know him. Are players going to want to come if we hired John minge who has no experience?

Does John Minge have no experience in the Championship or just no experience?

Whoever comes we have no choice but to back them, Bruce is on my dislike list in fact I've often wondered if he is actually a bit mental but maybe we need somebody a bit crackers to get the fans fired up again

My gran just rang me and told me that someone who looks exactly like Steve Bruce has just had a blue rinse at her hairdressers on Newland Ave !
