Easier to lose a lot of money as well.
He employed the right ppl and invested in the right areas. In 2008 when he lumped in his entire worth in electric cars, he could have lost it all if the oil lobby had won the political battle.

You can get really rich with no media savvy if you inherit **** loads of money, so you’re already rich, and then turn the already **** loads of money into even more with very good computer programming stuff you’ve had time to learn because you haven’t been having to work at Tesco’s, or wherever, because…you’re already rich.

The majority of ppl if they inherited several millions would buy a house and live off investments, via a financial adviser, from the remainder, a minority would blow it over a few years, but to create wealth of that level is unique to a few.

He did inherit **** loads.
He’s very good at what he’s done though (if you measure success by money) and some of it is hard, and has needed some good decisions, but none of what he’s been successful at needs media savvy.
