Burnsy is returning to do a one-off Sportstalk at 6.00pm tonight, to discuss his view that 'City are more likely to get relegated, than promoted this season'.

Optimistic bugger...

Burnsy understands football better than many on here. Our squad looks in poor shape so he's got a point, but it's obviously irrelevant until we know what we're left with. That said, I don't have much confidence we're going to be much stronger by the end of the transfer window.

I won a few quid gambling a few weeks back so did a few pre-season bets on relegation / promotion.

My outsider bet for relegation is Newcastle / Hull / Fleetwood / Newport. Was only £2 ha.

City were 33-1 to go down. They shouldn't go down but I couldn't resist that. Thinking Wolves and Wigan....

Have also got a bet on them to be promoted tho :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Interesting to hear Burnsey later...

Yeah, it's not like he's trying to boost numbers listening to the show considering they have been dwindling consistently for the past few years...

No wonder. It was pretty boring even before that Hogarth chap took over. It's like Woman's Hour now.

I never listen apart from match day. But will tonight. Sucker.

City have signed a player according to Sky!

It's not unheard of for teams to crash straight down to the next league after relegation which is why I was glad Bruce is staying, taking a punt on a new manager a la Parkinson/Eddie Gray/ add your own /isn't always a good idea. As for Burnsey 'knowing more about football than a lot of those on here' (PLT) not hard really is it when you read match day threads on here
