It's a real problem marra,when people don't check the fixture list before making arrangements!
I've been banging on about it for years with my kids!
Mmm....I don't think we should get ahead of ourselves mate. Every match is difficult in this league.
Just like any other game, play to OUR strengths, respect the opposition and if we do then our strengths will be enough to win the game imo.

Great thread again RTB thank you for your efforts. Looking forward to driving down to this one. Difficult game in my opinion 1st home game in front of their fans they will come at us at the start. First 20 mins keep a clean sheet quieten their crowd a bit and then start to take the game to them. Not as confident as some for a win I'd take avdraw now but I do think we might just sneak by the odd goal. Haway the lads.
If we lose,you'll be disappointed,harder to take if your expectation was not to be disappointed.

Yes,but that was at Spurs. They'll be a different proposition at Turf Moor,first match back in the PL. I'm confident in the team we've assembled, we are going to need to be at our best to get something here.Or we just attack them from the start

I'm sure they'll be thinking the same.
Given a lot of their spend was players from last season they were obliged to buy, id be most disappointed if we cannot edge this.

Yep,agree. I think the best pre match fun I have is the anticipation of the match...meeting up with mates....chewing the cud of where we think we are,and what we think we are capable of match by match. I think it's what defines us as fans.
ELF took a knock in that training vid but was there at the end. Assume all is fine as they'd have edited it out!
