A lot seems to make sense in what your saying except
  1. We have a settled manager who knows what he wants to acheive
  2. We have a manager:biggrin:
  3. Best Chairman in the game bar none:emoticon-0152-heart
  4. Chairman not afraid of spending promotion money on improving team

On the one hand I have lambasted Bruce for not getting sacked last season,plus I had a proper dig at him and his tactics in trying to set us up and not conceed first with no plan B to boot. Unlike you I have a life outside of this Forum. As for my "Allam defence mechanism" I suggest you read my posts. I've always said that the Allams are not the best & not the worst owners we've had. As for Steve Bruce, I've always been a big supporter of his and what he's done for this club. Interestingly though, I've just watched a Sky report that highlights of the 8 Managerial posts he's had he's been sacked from 2 and walked out on the other 6 - and on no occasion was it his fault (according to him).

At the end of the day, Brucie didn't do himself any favours - after Wembley he wouldn't commit to the Club giving us 10 days which turned into 30 for him to decide whether he wanted to stay or not- then he starts begging for the England job in public embarrassing himself - hardly a ringing endorsement that he is committed to us for the season- who's to say he wouldn't have been off the next time any opportunity arose - thank you for two promotions and a relegation, an FA Cup Final and a ****ed up European excursion - some great signings and some duds and some of the worst negative tactics I've ever seen - personally I'm not sorry he's gone although the timing is awful - it goes without saying that unless the useless ****s pull a rabbit out of the hat in the next three weeks, we've got to be favourites to go down by a country mile - I expect one day, Assem/Ehab Allam to sit along Gerald Ratner as a text book example of how to completely **** up a business - where are all the apologists now saying they still trust the Allams to do the right thing because they are business genius's - don't make me laugh

I think these player statements and messages are a sign they're united and against the owners.
 
When will the hdm raise their head above the parapet and tell it like it is
Deeply unhappy fans ! Apoplectic would describe most of us .

When is the hdm going to raise its sorry head and ask the questions most of us require answering
And not be frightened to lose its privileged position of having full access

When is the hdm going to carry out its mission statement and ask the questions that require answering
Instead of being scared to face the Allams and give the local public answers to so many unanswered questions

Go on phil Buckingham ask the questions and get the answers don't be afraid of been banned if you are it won't last long the Allams can not surely last much longer

Don't follow in the slipstream of radio blunderside get out there and get the answers

How do you expect them to ask the relevant questions when the Allams won't speak to them?

Stand on the doorstep go to the offices intersept them in their way from their office to the car park.
Hassle them collar them and if they still will not answer ,report that they will not talk but this silence and lack of challenge to the state of affairs is beyond comprehension
 
Well I am gutted our best ever manager gone no players absolutely no fans and aparantly no money. ( t@ssers) and my interest in my local team is non exist ant a lot of memories but they are just history
