I think an important question has to be asked: how did we let this happen? Not just City fans but the footballing community in general. How have we let owners and chairmen rule football clubs like feudal tyrants? I get that they own the club but even that's an issue in itself. A significant amount of shares or ownership should be controlled by a supporter's trust. Football clubs in England have to be some of the worst examples of modern capitalism in action. Hardly any accountability and the owners can pretty much do what they want. The FA needs to radically reform how football clubs and owned are run in England. It's atrocious.
There's no point jumping down Smoggo's neck. He sees our **** situation as Boro's chances of staying up improving. We'd feel the same if the tables were turned. They've got a great owner, one of the best in England in fact, a good manager, a squad not falling to bits because of injuries and signing great players.
So your telling me that nearly a half a billion people more watched Hull City than watched the 2014 world cup final !!!
Did you read what I wrote? If more people supposedly watched that naked event, 720millio, than watched the 2024 World Cup final anything is possible.
