he'll get them in the top 6
i think top 2 is out of stretch this season, villa have been dreadful thus far

Although he's an expert at getting out that league, I reckon Villa are so **** that he won't get there this year. Or even close.

Needs to be backed long term and I'm sure it will happen at some point.

Treated like **** at the end here, feel the shame Ehab.
January transfer window will be interesting particularly if our situation is not sorted.
In Bruce we trust??

Top man .. I'm sure he'll get the backing there that Ehab didn't give him here and as a result take them up .. maybe not this season but deffo next .. might see what odds this season just in case though

He may take MP with him. I wouldn't be to sorry if he went though, from what I've seen the team has gradually gone back to the Bruce style of play. I suppose that could have been down to the tough opposition of the past 4 games.

It is worrying that he's at a club with shed loads of money. Bruce loves signing players from his previous clubs, I can see us getting stripped of a few. He'll know all about release clauses and salary levels.

Villa's squad looks half decent on paper, he might not want too much in the Jan window and our lads might not be good enough anyway.

By the time January comes around, Villa will be so far behind the leaders they will have little or no chance of being promoted - why on earth would anyone, except players not getting a chance of playing Prem football leave City to go and play Championship football for the next eighteen months - surely they will be looking to better themselves - the only ones who re likely to go are Junior and Meyler who are not good enough anyway - Brucie got lucky last season, mainly because he'd spunked £40 million on players but the football and tactics were horrible - you can count on one hand the good performances - you would need half a dozen hands to count the bad. The players are all focused on playing for Hull City - as Curtis said, Phelan is a breath of fresh air to them, meaning not the stink under Brucie - we have seven points compared to Brucies 2 for the same games - just don't get all these concerns about a player exodus

<laugh> Focused on hull city. Every single one if them will jump ship in January if offered a better contract

Good luck to Steve Bruce, give him 18 months and they will be back in the Premier League, just too much to do this season.

But if you look at the attacking players in that squad : Grealish, Ayew, Kodija, McCormack, Gestede, Adomah, they have most of the squad there. They just need a manager experience in the Championship, a couple of key signings at the back and they could walk that league.

I reckon Bruce will do it. I wish him the best as he always gave everything to this club. (Even if I slagged him off at times unnecessarily)

Do Villa have any money left to spend without breaking the FFP rules? I seem to recall them shelling out sheylaveronika loads & not really selling anyone in the summer. So all this talk of our players going there is a bit daft IMO!
