If they plan on bringing in a dof as being suggested. A new manager should be his role. Its that manager he will have to work with.
Makes sense to me to ensure that is in place asap. then sack bruce. then start the rebuild.

I want him gone as soon as possible, but I agree with Munson.
Walk in and just sack him immediately, losing half the upper coaching staff that came in with him? Who will take training, run the day to day that the managers do.
You would first need to speak to his successor, something I believe they've already done, that successor needs to speak with his usual coaching team and agree to come with him. You've got to feel the vibe of the dressing room.
I can wait a few days for the clubs entire future to begin, I even suspect we will play better than usual against Spurs.

I’ve also made peace with that, and it’s fine. This isn’t about snap decisions or even Spurs. We’ve waited 14 years for progress, another fortnight won’t hurt.

Its the club covering its arse. I dare say there has been calls to all corners of the globe over the weekend. Like a few are saying, you don't walk into a group meeting and fire someone in front of everyone. It's not the done thing.

To be fair, I'm sure these owners wont rush anyway. Stavely seemed to be adamant a thorough review will be done, and nothing will be rushed, and has placed a target of big success within 5-10 years. Realistic targets and decent targets.
He will be gone, but if you appoint a director of football you let him deal with it. That's his role. No point putting the cart before the horse. By all means if we've spoken to a preferred target and he says bin him then by all means bin him with a plan in place.

Disagree with those saying it can't happen immediately but I get where there heads are at but the sooner Bruce is gone the better, should have been yesterday or the day before that or even Friday evening once the news broke. No time to waste - do people think he's suddenly going to become a world beater now there are new owners in? I mean who cares if the staff leave with Bruce? Bring back Caldwell for a stop gap with Jones and promote some youth coaches if you have to but Bruce shouldn't still be here!
