I would imagine their difficulty is, as the backroom team is just another area of a vast lack of investment, if you get rid of him you have to can Clemence and Agnew at the same time. That leaves just Jones to prep the team for a big game on Sunday, which isn't feasible.
It's a tough call - I actually think they might as well just stick with the fat idiot until they get a succession plan lined up. Either that, or keep both idiot coaches temporarily and put Jones in charge. I imagine they'll get the lay of the land today before making the call. Find out from the players the value - or lack thereof - of him staying. Would his dismissal improve the mood?

Press are reporting that they've realised that the fat blimp in charge at the weekend may dampen the atmosphere against Spurs, (I DONT ****ING THINK SOOOOOOOOO, NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP THAT PLACE BOUNCING AT THE WEEKEND), the press have been told a decision will be made in due course. They are simply speculating. These lot are far too professional and have waited long enough to know not to spill anything too soon.

The thing is that they'll be keen to see what the players think and say.
They'll be aware they don't want to walk in sack Bruce and have players thinking they're ****s.

It's just isn't a good luck to walk in day 1 and before introducing yourself to the squad just sack bruce.

I don't think they'll be thinking lets make it as hard as possible for the next manager by putting someone in playing a unique brand of defensive football. I don't think the new owners would make this kind of mistake. I expect they'll look to Man C type model of looking at managers who can follow a certain path. So they went Mancini, Pellegrini, Pep. All attacking managers playing possession based high press. We will probably learn from their mistake of slowing progress by giving an old school Hughes time. We won't do that with Bruce.
Rodgers would make sense however. Been around the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, seen how the top clubs operate. Very much attacking and plays the modern possession based high press game. Would he leave Leicester for us though?
The other option would be to say to someone like Conte, I know you don't want the building role, but do you fancy doing a stint to the end of the season to get us safe and use your know how to get us out of a hole. A 7-8 month incentive based role for a firefighter. We are in a strange position with the relegation angle.

It makes absolutely no difference what the ****ing result is at the weekend in my opinion...bruce or no bruce. If jones takes charge then fine but he'll know that's just temporary. Someone just needs to pick the team and tell the lads that the stadium is gonna be ****ing bouncing and if they wanna be part of what's about to come they need to step the **** up and show the new owners what they are capable of. Hell even I could tell them that man !
I know when he went to Bari in Serie B they were in relegation trouble and he led them on a second half of the season charge. Proper fighter, was as a player and same as a manager. Mind did he not have a torrid time at Atalanta when their ultras were gonna lynch him? Haha. I think he has done things the right way, managed at a lower level with likes of Siena and Bari. Done the whole relegation battle, promotion, winning titles, seems to have well rounded CV in this regard.

He would be short term too, as he's another who plays his own way. I think he there are two types of bosses now. Your builders who want to play that modern pressing game, set the entire club up that way, develop an ethos. Then you have your Conte, Zidane, Mourinho etc who I think just look for 2-3 year stints at really big clubs with money.
I reckon my granny could get them up for Spurs. What an easy job its going to be in that regard. The whole city is buzzing, the fans are ment, the players have also shown that a weight is lifted off them. Its why I think its important Bruce is gone ASAP. The only thing I'd say is they may want to allow him his 1000th game...
