In fairness its just the same story coming out through several people throughout the week, after all there is a bit of a gap in the races now, what else is there to talk about in F1:p

Ironically theres loads of positive and negative stories about him right how, like:

http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/formula-1/news/vettel-backs-hamilton-to-rediscover-form_6015.html

Champion driver Sebastian Vettel believes that Lewis Hamilton will soon rediscover his race-winning form.

McLaren's Hamilton has struggled for large parts of the ongoing season and currently sits fifth in the drivers' standings.

"I never thought Lewis was gone, so there is no point [in saying] that he is back," Vettel told Sky Sports News.

"He is a very good driver and I respect him a lot for that. The moment he has better results is the moment people will start to be quiet again and hopefully leave him alone."

As well as the ever increasing number of stories of Hamilton's and Nicole's bi-monthly breakups.

I love the quote from Whitmarsh in that article, he's basically saying: "I'm not saying there's a problem in Lewis' private life, but there is a massive problem in Lewis' private life"

Its an old article, but this sheds some light on why his mum isn't about too much.

Hamilton joining Mercedes would show what an indifferent pairing the existing couple of drivers are.

yep, I think the Merc was capable of winning this season with a decent driver, I've always been a bit surprised that Rosberg is still in F1 tbh, he's never really showed much in my eyes.

I really hope he hasn't taken up Scientology, that isn't going to help his career as a racing driver one little bit. I think he needs his dad back managing him to sort him out.

Nothing wrong with Scientology, as far as dianetics goes, it's getting mixed up with the Church of Scientology (copyright, trademark) where problems begin.

This is becoming a bit of a soap opera now or maybe even a rocky movie. What if this 'New Lewis' doesnt work out? will more toys be thrown out the pram? All he needs is the mentality and back to basics driving of 2007 otherwise he wont achieve anymore in his F1 carear. Trouble is the next Mclaren will suit Button as he will be the team leader so he will need to adapt. And then the following season reg changes could shuffle the pack again which Mclaren were slow on in 2009. He has a tough challenge ahead....

Every time I visit the BBC website theres a new story about Hamilton, no matter how small.

"Hamilton's mates sister friends friends barber says Hamilton is about to turn a corner" etc. Are the BBC really that lazy that they can't be bothered to deal with a real story <laugh> On the other hand perhaps if Hamilton drove with the eye of the tiger tune in his helmet he might win another WDC next year <ok>

Why should the BBC fork out for expensive reporters to write up decent stories when they can produce recycled pap like this on the cheap? It makes perfect economical sense! I hear rumours there will be a strictly section opening up on the sports section of the BBC website soon...

I agree the BBC could sack all of its reporters and use some of the rubbish produced on here. We could have a Schuey article almost every day.
You know:
'Msc was the greatist ever'
'Msc is still the greatist ever'
'A 42 year old has balls'
'Would you drive an old mate in a brick wall at 150mph'

Plenty of material available.

Absolutely, right.

Looks like the perenial women trouble, is the root cause of Lewis being a tad downbeat, two massive high flying careers in one family, not a hope in hell of getting that to work, yet, both need to get the career thing out of their systems first.

i think he needs to sort out his head over the winter, ignore all of the press and just focus on preparations for next season. maybe find out vettel's trick of pulling out 1-lap wonders to get ahead in quali. he never left, as vettel said, but he was too aggressive this season at times as he rushed getting past. he needs to learn the trick of overtaking with DRS. ignore outbraking other drivers, focus on being on the tail going into the DRS straight and you will be past by the end of it. lathough thats not his style, it will work better.

Well he is now split up with Nicole, my guess is that he will be conveniently doing better.

He needs to be dropped down to Earth a bit, he has had a bit of real racing this season.
It has done no harm to him but reduced the size of his ego.
