So no flights were suspended due to virus on Saturday morning? You want to put money where your mouth is big man?
This discussion is specifically about Brits and British flights. Flights from Italy were suspended as I said much earlier in this thread. Show me where all flights, or at least the British ones, were suspended on Saturday morning. This is what you said, "Saturday morning flights were suspended man. Don’t you listen."

The bloke is a tosser. He’s been Following me around this board since we played Bristol Rovers because I had the audacity to say I didn’t fancy us to get a result. I’ve tried ignoring him bug he’s now hit the little argument he’s been after. What a life he must lead.
Yes I posted that myself, it was the airlines choice. It doesn't say anything at all about your claim that Spain suspended the flights. You're wrong.
Where did I claim Spain suspended flights? I said flights were suspended on Saturday which they were. The lockdown was on Saturday night. People were clearly there prior to the lockdown commencing, it’s not as if there was a mass influx of holiday makers arriving on Saturday and being lead up the garden path only to find that they couldn’t leave their rooms on arrival which is what you’re trying to argue. You asked me to show you where flights were suspended on Saturday, I have shown you. You just keep defending thick w@nkers abroad who can’t accept the repercussions of a very real global crisis. Thankfully the majority of comments on social media appear to agree that these people are morons.
In answer to my post. I said, "By the weekend the government had only restricted incoming flights from Italy ... ... totally unreasonable and hypocritical." You responded by saying, "Saturday morning flights were suspended man. Don’t you listen." Now you're pretending you actually meant you were talking about individual airlines ... ... what a joke.
Saturday morning flights were suspended, how many time do you need to be told. All this because you are desperate for a row with me, what a sad little man. You could’ve picked a better topic than jumping to the defence of a bunch of idiotic Brits who have been widely condemned mind but I suppose that says a lot about your mentality.
I only need to be told once if you post the proof which is what I've done. You can't post the proof because you're wrong.
So an article stating that flights were turned round and suspended on Saturday morning wasn’t enough. It’s all the Spanish governments fault that 95% of British holidaymakers can adhere to an ever evolving situation but the other 5% can’t. Videos now doing the rounds on social media of Osbourne Road packed to rafters of people celebrating St Paddy’s day. I’m sure you’ll manage to find an avenue to blame the Spanish for that as well!
That was the choice of the airlines ... ... Spain would've allowed them to land. You're getting mixed up with the curfew and the flight ban. You can't post a shred of evidence that Spain stopped incoming flights because you're wrong. Post the proof and I'll apologise.
Not taking sides but it was the airlines who turned the planes round for the sake of the holiday makers with everything closed their view was that their holidays would be ruined and felt that it was the best course of action .
I didn’t say Spain had, how many times do you need to be told? I said flights were suspended which means all these poor souls wandering the streets weren’t lead up some garden path by a government desperate for their pennies as they’d obviously been there since at least the day before. Has it sunk in yet? The vast majority adhered to it, the cretinous minority you’re so eager to defend didn’t. The odds aren’t stacked in your favour.
Now you're just lying through your teeth, have some dignity man. I said, "By the weekend the government had only restricted incoming flights from Italy ... ... totally unreasonable and hypocritical." You responded by saying, "Saturday morning flights were suspended man. Don’t you listen."
I have never said otherwise mate. What I’m saying is that Saturday morning flights were suspended. This means that very very few holidaymakers will have managed to arrive on Saturday. I think Ryanair may still have flown out still. The decision was taken very late in the day to move the curfew forward from Monday to Saturday. Even a resident who posts on here wasn’t aware. All those wandering around the following day/days will have been there before the curfew came into place, due to the fluid situation this isn’t the governments fault. The vast majority seemed to understand this. The ones who smug is defending thought it clever to ignore it.
You’re a bit thick aren’t you. Saturday morning flights were suspended, you’ve acknowledged this yourself. You’re the one getting wrapped up in the Spanish government. I never mentioned them in regards to suspending flights.
