As saffy says we pay a higher rate of tax in Scotland, I generally don't mind the idea of paying a wee bit extra to help people worse off than me but I don't see the logic behind giving everyone who's reached 60 free bus travel. It's a completely arbitrary number, 65 maybe or 70 but 60 ffs, it's absolutely pointless.

Spoken like the true 72 year old raging ex bent copper twat that he is.

60 is not pensionable age though is it?

Look mate, I’m 60 in three years time. ****ing Tory bastards have already moved the state pension age to 67 and will have us all working till 90 if they can. So Id very much like it if no ****er messed with my bus pass, seeing as I left school in 1976 and have been paying taxes ever since.

I think your beef is with big pharma mate. They have been ripping the NHS off for years.
Of course...

However , free prescriptions for drugs like paracetamol and ibroprofen , that you can get for about 30p on average ,is a joke

Even if you save a million a year by not prescribing them , that's a good few staff at ground level

And yet you still wrote this...

Free uni was thanks to Scottish Labour.

You obviously don't understand what you are reading.

Major Mindy Fail.

<laugh>
Obvious wasn't it.

Free uni means you dont pay for university. You may pay for other students bursaries etc, but you are not funding the university from it.

Understand yet?

I don't know what that means, im in my early 20s...
It means you're a funny guy.

You say Scottish Labour gave us free university education even though you know they didn't. Then you argue that they did even though you know they didn't.

It's amusing to watch you wriggle. <cheers>
