    The government completed the disposal of its shareholding on 12 October 2015, when a 13% stake was sold for £591m and another 1% was given to employees. In total the government raised £3.3bn from the full privatisation of Royal Mail.

    Bin Bag Obama was a complete waste of utter space as President and got a very easy ride, for one reason and one reason only. He was inept and impotent.

    Actually, there was a second reason he got a free reign and was immune for criticism, he married a man.

    Okay, it was badly worded but the fact remains the same: the EU put in place directives that will lead to privatisation of postal services in all EU countries eventually.

    Of course, you could naively believe that the EU, who are pushing for the introduction of TTIP which critics claim would lead to the privatisation of services like the NHS, aren't somehow in favour of privatisation of postal services. But that would be very naive.
