That's not how it reads.

Sounds like a load of whiny turds who are petulantly stamping their feet, spitting out their dummies, declaring their superior knowledge, unnecessarily creating myths & suggesting all people who voted "Leave" are thick, uneducated, racist, stupid, ignorant, off council estates & many other things rather than accepting the result of a democratic vote, rolling up their sleeves & getting on with making the future a better one for themselves & others.

At least the fallen leader of the "Remain" campaign accepted that there should be only one referendum.

The Leave campaign is wrong to say there'll be a 2nd referendum if we vote to remain in the EU. This is a referendum and not a neverendum.

2:24 PM - 17 May 2016
This petition was actually set up before the result was even known. Apparently he is a outy not an inny. Nige also advocated this very idea of a 2nd referendum if the vote was 52-48. Maybe the outies were preparing for the very same whiny petulance as the innies. Who'd have thought it.

What we do need to do is make civics & politics part of the National Curriculum. How many people can explain how both this country and the EU runs, how laws are made, what are rights actually are? When you vote, what are you voting for, how does it work? If people don't understand even at the basic level what they are voting for, then we are going to be prey to the most "popular" arguments, and not debate around the facts.

E.g. Could anyone here define the European Commission, the European Council, the European Parliament, The Council of Ministers and the Court of Justice of the European Union? And what the UK's role/contribution is to each of them?
Some good points.
We are now going to get a PM that nobody has voted for.

Trying too hard now. It's already been established that all leave voters are thick. If he was an "outy" he wouldn't have a clue how to set this up. Outies only managed to vote because it was like signing their name.

It's not about who set it up or when, it's about all the ****s signing it now who are whining like a load of whiny turds petulantly stamping their feet, spitting out their dummies, declaring their superior knowledge, unnecessarily creating myths & suggesting all people who voted "Leave" are thick, uneducated, racist, stupid, ignorant, off council estates & many other things rather than accepting the result of a democratic vote, rolling up their sleeves & getting on with making the future a better one for themselves & others.

So, a left win eurosceptic heads a campaign to keep us governed by capitalists, while the right wing here oppose him.

After a democratic vote, we choose to separate from the capitalists, but those that supported the left wing guy, want a fascist stype selection system because they've heard right wing views on telly, but ignore other comments from people that voted to stop a man that ouldn't be a leader becoming one , even though that left us ruled by unelected capitalists that we can't vote out.

Maybe all decisions should be by coin toss.

Well no - they will have been voted for, because they will be an MP, who will have been elected by their constituents. That's how a parliamentary democracy works, we elect our MPs, the biggest gang of MPs form the government and the biggest gang also decides who is going to be in charge. We do not directly elect our Prime Minister and never have.

Not sure who you suggest is trying too hard? I've said very little about it. As it was set up before the result was known by a Brexiter it is about when it was set up and by whom. It's just been hijacked by the losing side. That's all I said. Plus Nige did state he wanted a 2nd go if the vote went the way it did but against him. Just stating the facts here and not slagging anyone off Ben. Don't have a go at me.

That's the principal, but not the reality.

In reality we vote for the prime minister or their party, most people couldn't even name the local MP they voted for.

Good post, in an early part of my life (late 80's early 90's) i got involved in lobbying the EU. I met lots of MEP's all over England and in Brussels even got into the parliament building to meet some. And yet it is still unclear how the whole thing works, and that is how they like it. Over 40 years The UK has been in the EU and every time anything happens to upset the apple cart it is always brushed away with its because you don't understand how things work.
What happened to the Dutch whistle blower, why are the end of year accounts never signed off, and why is the parliament still moving to Strasbourg 12 times a year? the answers are always lost in the fog of the EU.

My post that you quoted is what it's about, the crux of which detailed the way many remain voters have held themselves up to be superior intellectually & in doing so have, & continue, to make themselves look like elitist ****ers.

Agree, but going back to my original point then if it was more widely understood how the system works then maybe we wouldn't get the argument "we didn't vote for them!" every single time the biggest gang sack the one in charge. (Blair/Brown, Thatcher/Major, Wilson/Callaghan, Macmillan/Douglas-Home, Eden/Macmillan, Chamberlain/Churchill...)

I voted remain but I'm getting a little fed up with seeing all of the sanctimonious whining from some of my remain comrades online, particularly young people. I'm worried about leaving the Tories to run everything in the short term but in the long term I genuinely believe leaving will have proved beneficial. Would older people be screaming about young people hating them and being selfish thick ****s had the result swung the other way? Perhaps some, but I think they would have just kept hush for the most part and dealt with it. We need to quit the finger pointing and the bickering and work together towards a more than possible excellent future. The World hasn't ****ing ended, Jesus Christ. This is why I don't hold young people with degrees and titles on a pedestal, because whilst I'm sure they are very smart in their particular field some of them sure act like entitled pricks who know everything about everything.

Go back and re-read what you wrote. You made no distinctions, you just voiced your extremely arrogant opinion and show no respect for anyone except yourself and those mounded in your image. A loud opinion, such as yours, would get short shift in any bar. To defend it compounds your lack of awareness. You asked. <ok>

It's an opinion, if you don't like it then don't agree, simple as. There's no lack of awareness at all, I simply made an observation based on what I saw in front of me and invited others to do the same to see if it matches up. Look it up for youself, most of the brexit people interveiwed on Tv were working class, middle aged people. That doesn't mean everybody who voted out falls into that category, nor does it mean everybody in that category voted out, it just seems strange that everybody I've seen interviewed for the out campaign is clearly working class from a working class town. Those that voted in that I've seen seem to be professionals such as teachers, doctors, surveyors etc.

I can only go on what I've seen, if you think I was making a sweeping generalisation then fine, that's how you've taken it, that isn't my problem. I don't need telling whether or not my opinion needs defending, that's up to you. However, if you think I'm arrogant enough to assume the country is simply split into two demographics, then you need to have a think.
