No I just think we have been short changed on a massive scale. As my earlier post said, we had three serving cabinet ministers as our local MP's at one time. Yet still we got short changed.
I vote as I see.

If it wasnt't for EU investment the north in general would have recieved **** all from anyone, in stead of relatively **** all.

UK Government doesn't care about the north it doesn't matter if we're in or out of the EU.

You think coming out of the EU will lead Cameron to go 'AH yes we can finally deliver the investment to Hull and Middlesbrough' <laugh>

Free health care, housing and education is a benefit. Somebody has to pay for it.

They work and pay taxes - taxes pay for these things.

If you're talking about illegal immigrants - this will not change by leaving. If you're talking about the overall numbers coming to the country - this will not change by leaving.

Not one of the Leave campaign has even suggested 'reducing numbers'. It's all a lie.

Healthcare's not free to EU nationals, whenever they are treated here, their home country gets billed for their treatment. Just as the NHS gets billed for any UK national who gets treated anywhere else in the EU.

You're really not big on facts are you?

And of course you're against UK citizens who financially contribute nothing receiving these benefits.

As you say, why should we pay for people who dont want to contribute?

I think that could be the problem for Remain.
The grey vote is probably out and most likely to vote. If the young Remain vote has this attitude then Remain maybe screwed.

Just been to vote. Surprised at how many there were. Heard one of the people there saying they have had four times as many through the doors as they had at the same time in the general election.

Some vacant-looking ne'er do wells shuffling up and finding the whole procedure a bit complex, who I assume were the Remain lot, and erudite, educated-looking people striding confidently in who must have been the Brexit voters.

At least their parents and others related to them will have contributed.

On what are you basing this?

Person in front of me wanted a pen as she accused the staff of being able to rub out her vote...obviously a first timer in her mid 40s I think.
The person in front of her.."what's your name ?" "Ray"was the response.
Seems if nothing else the turnout will be higher than usual!

Just voted. Big turnout, miles more than the general election according to people sat there.

I do think Remain will win. But I've done my bit for Leave. Be watching keenly tonight.

As you say...

In the past two years Hull has had its Government grant funding reduced by £41m.

No I don't.
I don't trust Cameron and by the jist of your comments neither do you. So why do you trust him over Europe ?

Having an exit poll on an exit poll could get confusing for some, which is possibly why they're not running one.

Remember, if we leave, we stay here, if we remain we go to Europe.
They can't do an exit poll as these polls are done by selecting the same stations as previous years, and comparing the answers to previous years/results. As we haven't had a referendum for decades theres nothing to compare against so the exit poll wouldn't count.

I don't "trust" him on anything.

I just don't believe the EU is th big, scary super hero film villain like everyone else.

I also don't think leaving will solve any problems we have.

Fair comments.
I would just like to know that the Government I voted for was the one making the important decisions for our country and its people. Then if the people don't believe they are they get the chance to vote them out.
Democracy.
Highly paid faceless unelected people in Brussels making decisions for us cannot be voted out.
That is not democracy.
Still voting No.
I was under the surgeons knife yesterday and the last thing he said to me was 'How are you voting' ?
'Out'
Good so am I, turning around to all his staff, who to a man all cheered.
