If these clubs want more money in the game, they need a product that will sell. Nobody heads to market these days with bad ideas and succeeds.

This is the issue though. I think it’s already initially been bought. The product is there and to balance it the tv companies need an audience.

That’s where this will all down and fast. If there is no paying customer (not saying supporter in this context) then the commercial gains disappear.

In America commercial revenue is what makes you successful, in Europe the thing that annoys these people is that commercial revenue doesn't immediately mean youre going to be guaranteed the most illustrious places.

Fundementally what they want to do is increase revenue and remove the competition that annoys them

What would be fuking hilarious is if we all break away and because fifa won't allow players to take part in both comps (wc +super league) after 2/3 seasons all the best players in the world go back to teams in normal leagues and leave the yank prem in the wilderness

That's the whole point of why most of us watch football,the local rich businessman puts his money into a lower league team and hopes to compete against the big boys some day,he has a dream just like the rest of us.
