Nothing to know mate...I know what everyone else knows about this

you for a start can **** off since you’re onto your third team of the season you plastic ****...you epitomise the thinking of these very owners but on a much more smaller irrelevant scale.

See, ye gettin' ****ing antsy because you know for a bang to rights fact you're wrong on this topic and can't handle not being on top in a thread gettin the likes that you absolutely crave <laugh>

how can you have the idiocy to call people making a stand lazy and sit there saying "lets just forget about it cos its Romans fault"

Think it’s worth pointing out that nobody has any idea how the agreements have been formed and it’s unlikely the PL will get sight of any of it now.

My opinion is that the investors will be kept on the hot plate and the rats will try again in another way.

It's not dead in the water, it's just going to be reformatted. Hasn't this been in the oven for 10 years? They have patience.

You obviously havent read the whole thread or you’d have realised my role in this is to play devils advocate but more importantly

your points are irrelevant considering your stance on loyalty

That’s not what they’ve done though, the rule states that during a season a club cannot enter its senior men’s first team in any competition other than... the cups they usually play in.

So without getting into a war of terms with you, no it’s not a fact at all. They haven’t entered their men’s teams into a competition at all, never mind during this season. They had only stated that they intend to join the ESL, from next season and the PL allowed this to go to vote as per protocol.

You’re talking about £40bn worth of football clubs drafting contracts in crayons and bantz. I’d be utterly astounded if these money monsters withdrew en-mass due to peer pressure if they faced a heavy, crippling fine. There’ll be pages of conditions about 6ft high.
Not according to the actual PL it isn’t as they’ve openly stated that these clubs had broken rule L9 in their letter to the other 14 clubs. The rule states that no competition may be entered into without the prior approval of the board. They literally signed up and announced they’d entered one, that’d be starting ASAP.

Had it ploughed on they’d have been in breach of contract, which they said they’d be prepared to fight. It’d have ended up in court no doubt, and they could have argued the nuances of the effective punishment for the rule break via 16 large per day contract lawyers.

I’d be equally astounded if there wasn’t a substantial penalty for withdrawal, however context is everything and it may be deemed not in anyone’s best interests to pursue.

My points are irrelevant to you, because you don't like they weren't in support of you.

I know how you operate Spurly, don't sit behind some bullshit now and pretend anything other than what this is.

idgaf what you're supporting, that had nothing to do with my post <laugh>

if you cant play devils advocate without your feelings getting hurt i reckon you find a new role

the post I replied to was complete and utter nonsense, I don't need any more context than that, apparently that made you upset

Yeah I’m fairly sure that’s an interpretation from another member. It’s cut and dry and interpretation can be undone by a contract lawyer on £50 an hour never mind top brass.

Either way, contracts of this magnitude are never sealed whilst ignoring a major, integral stakeholder.

They’ll probably still be punished but not under that rule, unless they want a fight bigger than they can afford to take on.

Absolutely right. People seem to have forgotten that the same self anointed big 6 wanted to change the voting mechanism and tried adding in a ‘not quite so special 3’ to create a 9 club block vote. Coincidence? My ****ing arse.

Oh and for the record, we got invited in as one of the ‘not quite as special 3’ and told them to go and get ****ed.

if you are not bothered about what I want then ****ing ignore my posts on this subject but you can’t because my posts dig at that disloyal **** living in he depths of your soul

my feelings aren’t hurt mate...but you see this is my problem...you’re a ‘fan’ talking like you love the beautiful game, like you understand what loyalty means, like you care about the integrity of the game in this country yet you jump ship like these owners as soon as you think you’ve found a better option than your bread and butter.

youve supported City and then Chelsea because Newcastle weren't good enough...you have no where to stand, no platform to talk from and any audience that entertains you on this topic must be just like you.

just my opinion of course, maybe I just made it all up, you know what I’m like.

Mate, I know your a spurs fan, but there is a world of difference between giving a club an advantage by buying them better players, and outright locking 95% of the footballing world outside of your competition to fend for themselves.
If Chelsea had won the last 10 PLs and CLs back to back then I would concede you have a point.

But its like comparing a kid who drinks lucozade before a race to another kid who breaks the legs of the other competitors so they cant race
City came along and spent more. <whistle>
