    Levy 2001-2019 (18 years)
Takes spurs from being a lower mid table team to regular top 4, challenging for trophies and into a new stadium.

    Levy Nov 2019-April 2021 (18 months)
Sacks Pochettino and employs a poisonous has been, threatens to furlough the lowest paid staff (Only stopping when thousands of us threatened to boycott the club) and now puts our name to this break away league.

    Time to **** off

I would add though, people need to let go of the nostalgia of the working class fans stood on terraces, or hitch hiking 300 miles to catch an away game. Football has moved on, it’s a money sport that will always have greed and mercenaries.

This is a leap too far though.

Indeed, this is a ****ing disgrace.
A CL safety net is a piss take, but this Super league will destroy football in this country.
Maybe this is what it will take....to bring some sanity back in to football.
Let those 6 clubs **** off. We'll form our own clubs

Newcastle fans: Mike Ashley is the worst owner in football, he only cares about Sports Direct.

    United fans: Hold my beer

Liverpool fans: Hold my Smirnoff Ice

I'm liking the thinking off the fans of the clubs that may go. Not one is in favour of this.

I’ve seen loads of Arsenal fans bouncing on Twitter like their club won’t be the runt of the litter in a ESL. Clubs playing their 2nd XI on their trip to The Emirates <laugh>

I'm under no illusions that Ashley wouldn't have been part of this given the chance, Unfortunately for him and his wallet he is such a **** owner that he has taken us from a champions league team to one that couldn't even win the title when Gary Neville was handing them out to other **** teams for free earlier <laugh>

Mate, im not even 40 yet, I only attended my first match in 1994.
I aint on some nostalgia trip, personally, but even I can see this is going down the wrong way.

Arsenal in an ESL they can't get relegated from is like your mum saying you have to let the fat kid who lives next door join in when you play footie with your mates. Embarrassing.

Fairly sure you weren’t a CL team when he took over like, but yeah I get your point, he’d be at it as well. Hell, the 6th club might be a Saudi-backed toon!

Is this to replace the CL? Do the teams still play in their own leagues or leave them for this new league?

The teams in the SL will no longer participate in the CL, but for that to happen they need the Premier League’s permission, and they won’t give it, so the only option is for these teams to break away from their domestic leagues.

That’s where it all runs into lawsuits, international football bans etc.

Nah ironically it was the Chelsea takeover that ended our champions league adventures, then we sacked Robson, employed Souness before spunking money on Owen and selling the club to Ashley afterwards.

    Not all Ashley's fault

The 'top six' want to play in the Premier League and the new Super League, but not in the CL or Europa League.

All the governing bodies have said 'if you join the Super League, you're out of ALL domestic and European competitions'.

If they join the Super League, they'll be kicked out of the PL, FA Cup, League Cup etc.

Still awaiting your humble apology as I seem to recall me starting a thread asking the same question and you told me it was irrelevant and shut my thread down ! Perhaps I actually knew what I was talking about whereas you....... enough said ?
Your hierarchy might want to revisit the new stadium plans though fella ?
