One year left on Boyd's contract, so the alternative is seeing him go for peanuts in Jan or next summer.

He's 28 now so this is pretty much our last chance to make any real money for a replacement.

I really like Boydy and he's been great for us, but this is just good business for all parties.

So is it every post, posted that you morons, seem unable to discuss without talking about something irrelavent? What a terrible forum this truly is! ....youve completely destroyed the tom cleverley topic with naff jokes about 80's pop songs!

They're only taking the Mickey. What a pity you don't understand.

Yeah I think id take £3mill for him, seems a nice guy and might be missed in the dressing room! But I think with what ive read on here, apart from the great musical knowledge on here, I agree he has to go!

So, it's farewell to Boy George, then?

If there's a £3m bid Bruce will probably talk to Boyd, say his first team options will be fairly limited. Boyd will then have to ask himself "Should I stay or should I go?". I wouldn't mind him staying as cover but he has looked more off the pace than other squad members and £3m is good value when he's out of contract soon.

Good move for him really, if Burnley have Faith in him and Dyche is Head Over Heels for the guy, then the deal is Gold.

Boyd was Dovestons favourite player the lads going to be heart broken.

If theres one thing i cant stand to see its When Dove's Cry

If he went to Derby, he would be the Boyd with a Thorne in his side.
